This is fantastic little car mount and by far one of the best i have ever bought. It exceeded my expectations by miles. It is constructed of top quality materials and very clever design - it holds my iPhone 6+ perfectly in place. I bought mine from Amazon as it was half the price of the apple store, but was so impressed I ordered a second one for my wife’s iPhone 6. it’s a tiny little phone holder, cleverly designed to hold your iPhone or Android phone firmly to the vent in your car. An absolute must have as it lets you slot your phone in using one hand, just push and slot it in place. Despite going over several bumps and winter pot-holes driving like you've stolen it it’s been held firmly. I can see almost at eye level who is calling me or follow Apple's or Googles Navigation software/directions. As well input destinations with ease or skip tracks on spotify. There’s plenty of video reviews on YouTube that will demonstrate the functionality etc - just search for “Kenu Airframe review you tube”. The good bits ---------------------------- * Will probably hold almost any smartphone in place. * Works on almost any car (see a list below) - I use it on my Mercedes S-Class with no issues at all. (doesn't fit the weird style vents in my Porsche 911 997 so don't buy it if your a Porsche owner). * Can be used with one hand. * Top quality materials - very well made and compact size. * Should keep your phone at eye level means you won't fumble around looking down or even drop your phone and watch it slide away. The Bad ---------------------- * It is expensive but you buy once and it will last you!! Don't buy anything cheaper this is the one you want trust me!!!!! Don't buy it from Apple amazon have so far been the cheapest! Will it work in my car? --------------------------- I wanted to be sure so checked through the Amazon reviews, and the following were highly rated. After a while I decided it would fit just about every car. However if your car has funky vents like some newer Mercedes do or Porsche's then you might have a problem.. I can't get this to work properly in my Porsche. It does work in my S-Class without issues. You will just need to suck it and see worst case you can probably return it... I am using it with my iPhone 6+ and have a bit of a bulky case and it works a treat! In conclusion --------------- Beautifully designed, well engineered, it’s expensive compared to the cheaper options, but it works brilliantly. It's worth every penny without a doubt. What can I say? A great surprise in a small package. I have purchased five of these so far, one for myself and the rest for family members. It is very difficult to find a good car holder and near impossible to find a decent air vent car holder. So behold the Kenu Airframe+. I had to go for the plus model as I mostly use large 5.5 inch screen phones and the smaller Kenu Airframe is for standard phone sizes. The item is not cheap by any means, this has a recommended retail price of £29.99. I first came across this company on Amazon and judging by the reviews I decided to go ahead and take the plunge. For something so small it seems so expensive. When I opened the packaging the first thing that struck me was the quality, this little thing is very well made. The back of the item which has a revolving mechanism so you can use your phone sideways if you wish has a solid rotating click to it (quite satisfying actually). Please note this style of air vent holder will not fit every car as some manufacturers have very odd shaped air vents so please check this before you buy it. But saying that this will fit most cars. Once I chose my desired spot on my dash the Kenu Airframe+ slotted into my air vent perfectly. The left side of the holder widens out in an elastic motion so you can place your handset into the holder. When you release the arm it closes and holds the phone very strongly in place (this mechanism is quite nicely hidden in the holder). After taking quite a few journeys, the holder has never dropped out of my air vent once. I have quite a firm suspension on my car, I feel most bumps in the road but the holder has performed admirably. As I mentioned before you can rotate this holder 360 degrees and it will hold any phone securely at any angle. This is one of the items which is essential for drivers and for us to drive safely and responsibly. If you have a compatible air vent in your car I don't think you will find a better holder on the market. By the way, I have read some reviews of sellers selling fake versions of this item. Ok, it's expensive for what it is and you unpackage it and go, seriously, did this thing just cost me £18?? But considering how many holders I've broken over the years at £5/£10 a pop this one suddenly becomes much better value for money. It's really well made and holds the phone really close to the vent so you don't knock it and it won't obscure the view of buttons and things on the center console. As it sits so close to the vent, when the phone is in it looks really smart. I've been over some bumpy terrain and not dislodged it at all. Despite this it's really easy to remove so and as it's small you can slip it into your pocket/bag easily. I'd imagine it would fit in most cars, so far I've used it in a Honda Jazz (2003), Ford Focus (2013 and 2008), Mercedes Sprinter Van, Vauxhall Zafira (2001), Ford Fiesta (1999), VW Golf (2013) and not had any problems. The fins are well designed and grip the vent blades well. The spring clamp holds my HTC One (in it's clear case) fine and also holds my girlfriends iPhone 5 fine too. I'm not sure a Galaxy Note would fit though as the HTC is almost maxing the spring out. Galaxy S4 would fit as that's not much bigger than my HTC One. To sum up, great device, a little pricey but well worth the money. I'm going to get another one shortly for the other car.

I bought this after it was recommended by a friend, and to be fair I am really happy with it. It is small and discrete, well made, and holds my iPhone securely and close to the dash so no big unsightly mounts sticking out everywhere. When the phone is not sitting in it, you hardly notice it's there unless you're looking hard for it. It fits well on the vents in my Audi A6 and I'm confident it'll stay in place even if I was driving on a very bumpy road. My only criticism (hence 4 stars not 5) is the price. As well made as it is, £10 would be more than enough for the manufacturer to produce the product AND show a healthy profit. To be honest, the price they're charging is a little greedy, but having said that, it does the job and does it well, so I would buy another one regardless of price if need arose.

This design is simple but it is very sturdy, attaches securely to the vent and because it's profile keeps it close to the vent makes for a very stable holder, even handling my Galaxy S3 with weighty case (though with this it is on the extreme limits of it's spring loaded arms, so be mindful if you have a large device). Yes it may appear expensive for it's size but it hasn't let me down yet which given the price of mobiles these days is an important factor. It's small size also means it will not attract the attention of theives who otherwise might go looking in the window for the phone. One word of warning, there are pictures of very similar looking products on Amazon at much cheaper prices but looking at the reviews I'm not convinced they are selling the same type of product. Perhaps with more sales the cost and therefore the price of this device will come down; I for one was glad I paid a bit extra for this quality product. My only slight negative is that it could do with being able to extend to an even greater extent, given the size of phones in this day and age. For anyone who like me doesn't want to obscure their view with a windscreen mount or isn't convinced by sticky dashboard devices, this is perfect. Would thoroughly recommend.

I've tried old school phone holders that take over the dashboard and are too big to hide & ultimately break/fall off or need replacing when you buy a new phone, and I've had magnetic holders where a metal plate stuck to the back of my phone which are fine but they get really grubby and look naff, but this Kenu car mount is my favourite to date... I've used 3 different phones with it now and fitting has yet to be a problem. It's not perfect, but I only say that as I'm not a fan of things that clip onto air vents as they can cause the vent fins to come unseated - however it is very small and looks tidy, requires no modification to my phone & it just sits in my cup holder along with other shrapnel like coins / memory sticks and whenever I need a my phones satnav or going on long trips where I may need the phone etc it's the first thing I grab, quick & easy and very secure. All in all, It's never let me down, its always there when I need it & If I happened to lose mine tomorrow, I'd buy another.

This is a good quality product, not doubt. But after deciding 'not to buy cheap' and get this holder, which has recieved overall good reviews, I'm left wondering if it's worth the cost. It grasps my phone well... a bit too well really, it's a bit too hard to pull open to place your phone inside and you need to make sure you're holding the unit onto your airvent otherwise it will ping off. THis is a problem given you then need three hands. One to hold the unit in place, the other to pull it open and a third to place the phone inside! It is not that well suited to phablets phones. I have an Experia Z1, which barely fits in. The unit has actually damaged my phone chassis due to this and the fact that it holds it so tight. Another issue is that the unit swings about a bit. The much cheaper holder I bought when I had my iphone had an extension part that held the holder in place against the airvent housing to prevent movement. This is a minor issue but one that a much cheaper unit had already sorted. Would not recommened for the cost

This mount is so small that the first time you unpack it you may question why it costs £20. But the quality of the build, the ease with which it fits in the car, and the ease that it holds my iPhone justifies the price. It's even capable of holding our Garmin Nüvi 1390T satnav. So far, I would say this is the best universal car mount yet(?) Mine is used to hold an iPhone 4S with the Otterbox Commuter case in a 2008 Renault Scenic. The firm grip means there's little chance of it dropping out under normal use, and on the centre air vents it holds it in just the right position to use. The grip is probably not firm enough to withstand driving over bumpy terrain though as it shook lose while driving over rumble strips at a local car park. The phone can be inserted with only one hand, but when removing it really needs two hands to prevent lifting the entire mount off the air vent. Strongly recommended to anyone who wants a quality but unobtrusive phone/satnav mount in their car.

Funziona egregiamente, lo uso su Opel Agila B ed è una meraviglia. Esattamente quello che cercavo. Ne ho provati di ammennicoli e carabattole con ventose e adesivi bracci e snodi e a parte l'orrore estetico soprattutto quando il telefono non è inserito, li ho sempre trovati poco pratici, troppo appariscenti, poco sicuri se applicati sul cruscotto e se applicati sul parabrezza troppo distanti per un pratico utilizzo del cellulare. Questo supporto è LA SOLUZIONE DEFINITIVA. Non è un semplice e fragile pezzo di plastica come sembra in foto, ma robusto metallo rivestito e gommato. Si inserisce perfettamente fra le alette dell'areatore senza rischio di rottura grazie al supporto (anch'esso gommato), è orientabile (verticale/orizzontale) basta ruotarlo senza bisogno di estrarlo, stabilissimo in marcia non si muove non traballa ne vibra, se inserito a contatto con la cornice esterna dell'areatore il telefono si può agganciare e togliere con una sola mano, tiene saldamente un S4 sia senza che con qualsiasi cover anche quella più pesante con batteria (comodissimo), ho il telefono a portata di mano praticamente accanto al volante quindi molto funzionale e essendo più vicino risponde meglio anche ai comandi vocali e infine quando tolgo il telefono, il supporto rimane li discreto quasi non ci fosse. Forse il prezzo può fare dubitare, ma ho voluto rischiare e dopo circa un mese di utilizzo posso dire non solo che sono assolutamente soddisfatto, ma che è l'unico che ricomprerei altre mille volte. Non posso che consigliarlo a tutti, non ve ne pentirete.

I've been using Kenu Airframe+ phone clamps for over 10 years in my cars. Though they're not cheap compared to other options from China, they actually work perfectly for year and they can be used in landscape and portrait mode. If you're looking for a phone clamp to install on the airvents of you car, this is by far the best solutions.

I first got a normal sized Kenu Airframe around 2015 when I worked at a large electronics retailer. Having worked there, I tested a vast range of phone holders of all different types - Vent mounts, dash mounts, cupholder mounts, windshield mounts, mounts with magnetic cards - Just about anything you can think of, I tried. Every mount I tried suffered from a myriad of issues, whether it was shaky arm issues, unreliable adhesives, or weak vent/phone clips, there was always something going wrong. That is, until I got my Kenu. The Kenu's strong vent clips are the only clips that truly stay in place without fail. On top of that, the mechanism used to secure the phone is rock-solid, though it does take a bit of time to learn the technique for getting your phone in & out with one hand. Once you get that down, it's incredibly easy to use. A few years ago I upgraded my phone to one with a larger screen. To my dismay, my phone no longer fit in my Kenu, so I passed it along to my partner for her to use. Needless to say, I was ECSTATIC when I saw that there was an XL version (Airframe Pro). Why I didn't look earlier still baffles me, as it was a product I loved and missed dearly, but oh well. The Airframe Pro is just as perfect as the normal Airframe, with what seems to be an even better mechanism to hang on to my vents. The mechanism used to secure the phone appears to be the same as the one from almost a decade ago - I'm very glad they didn't fix something that wasn't broken! After almost a full decade of use, the only issue I had with my original Airframe is that the rotation mechanism has worn out, but all the clips still hold strong and it's not a huge problem. I don't anticipate that the Airframe Pro will suffer from the same issue since the design of the vent clip has been updated. It also fits my S22 Ultra perfectly, even with the LifeProof case that I have on it. All in all, I'm very happy with this product, and cannot recommend it enough.
