Cetraben Dermatological Emollient Cream, Dry or Chapped Skin, SLS and Paraben Free, Fragrance Free, 500 g

Recommended to me by doctor. It's great for dermatitis on my hand. I use it every time I wash my hands. My hand has cleared up, itchiness gone and wounds from excessive itching healed. The cream easily absorbs and leaves no greasiness like the Cetraben ointment does. The bottle is very big so value for money. It has a pump action allowing the right amount to be dispensed. This cream has been successful in hydrating my skin too. This product will definitely last long as you don't need to use too much of it.

Absolutely use nothing but this cream I've had eczema all my life this is the only cream that stops it coming back, feels nice on skin all day you don't have to top up, well I didn't anyway, might be different for different people's skin, but worked wonders for me, large bottle last months

I have psoriasis and I've been using this cream for my cracked skin patches/ flared up skin from itching etc and this cream works well to keep the dry areas moisturised and closing any cracks in the skin. Would recommend!

This is an amazing moisture cream that really does what it says on the tin! I’ve tried many others - like E45 and the like but nothing works as well as this. I had an operation that left a severe hole in my neck that couldn’t be stitched and had to heal over itself. That was many years ago. As I’ve got older, my skin has thinned and sometime bleeds. This is what I needed the cream for to stop me picking at it and making it bleed further. This softens the skin and absorbs really well. I wouldn’t use anything else. Not cheap rubbish but an excellent product that actually works.

i have been using Cetraban for years. I first stumbled upon it because my daughterdaughter has suffered with dermatitis/eczema most of the lotions and creams n the shelves were doing nothing to help her in between flare ups. Actually my hubby also jus suffers from dry skin . Its as if his skin just swallows up the lotions, leaving no trace, that he'd ever used any. I was living in England at the time & my colleague had this on her desk. I had used some day after washing my hands (which were very dry) I noticed that my hands felt truly moisturized and it lasted. We got talking, she suggested I should buy it as she also really loves it. The only hitch was that you could only purchase it over the counter at a pharmacy. Now I live in the US. you can't purchase cetraban so readily here. we have tried all the major creams and lotions on the market for soothing dry skin & dermatitis, we have not found success with any them,, really aside from aquafor. but aquafor can be really thick and/or more vaseline based. Not necessarily ideal to use on the face. Some things that I love about Cetraban is that you can use it as an emolient, so fo my daughter, she can't use just any facial wash and we go through our share of body washes as well for that reason. I like that you can turn it into an emolient then turn around and use it as a moisturizer. It works really well on normal to extremely dry skin. it lasts for quite some time. you don't need to use loads. it has a locking mechanism to stop excess and also so you don't push on the pump by accident. We use this al around on everyone in my family. I introduced to my sister, who loves in France (here I would say they have pretty good creams and lotions in their pharmacy as well) but she also quite liked Cetraban. It's not something you can get there easily either. The consistency of the cream is not so thick you feel like you're wearing a mask. the cons- its hard to come by here in the US. it's on the expensive side (but worth it). The container it comes in is bulky and has a heavy base, so it's not a cream you can travel with on a plane or if weight is a factor in your travel.

I have tried numerous creams for my chapped skin in our cold Canadian winter months. This is the first and only product to fix severely chapped and cracked skin on hands and feet. The price is much better compared to the selling price in local pharmacies, assuming they carry it, as it is a bit difficult to find. With an approximate 3 year shelf life, there is no wastage for unused lotion. I highly suggest this lotion over any other product currently on the market.

I've been battling extreme dry and chappy face, which kept peeling and stinging for a year,my skin was literally addicted to moisturize.I was using CeraVe moisturizing cream and lotion,it worked for a short period to soothe it but had to keep reapplying because it will dry off and the cycle continuous.I watch Dr Vinita on YouTube and she recommended Cetraben,I tried and I'm never ever going back. It's just everything my skin needs,I only have to apply once and I'm good to go.My skin is also becoming uniforms as I was suffering discoloration due to peeling. Good thing is,it doesn't cause any break out. I'm stucked.
