This is a tremendous piece of kit, with a quality sound that one should not expect in an item so keenly priced. The radio works well on FM, it bluetoothed in seconds with an iPhone and then a kindle, and equally as quickly by the extra USB lead to a kindle. It played all the music on a USB stick with such clarity. Its portable and battery or mains driven and for £13 I cannot believe the quality. I don't often write reviews but this bit of kit blew me away with its clarity, quality and sound , enough to fill any room. I have a friend with a Bose system which in terms of sharpness and sound quality is not that much better than third tiny little unit. Am I exaggerating , no really you will be impressed.

Very successful purchase. Amazingly loud, and clear. Very small, about as big as a coconut. Only reservation, SD card sticks out quite a lot, and could be damaged easily , but you could use a low profile USB flash drive, which is what I chose to do. I Didn't try the bluetooth connection.

I bought a much larger version of this in India ...NOT THE SAME MAKE ... it was quite good but I got a shock from the input sockets and the charge didn't last long. I was very disappointed as the concept was superb .... put your music on a pin and take it wherever you wanted! I was terribly disappointed and started to search Amazon for something similar. This caught my eye. The size made me a little skeptical but the write ups were good. I put it in my wish list. Upon my return to England I saw one on special offer and bagged it. Today it arrived fully charged and I spent most of the day gardening with it (when I was not glued to the TV watching Her Majesty's progress in Windsor!You MUST NOT HESITATE to buy this little gem. The specifications are incredible; the sound is superb ... loud, clear, dynamic ... impossible to comprehend from something so small. If you just want a good radio ... buy it. If you want somethng from which to play the music on your phone or play your favorites stored on your laptop ... do not hesitate... it is worth twice the money!!!

Lasted one day

I bought this thinking it wouldn't be too great as it was so cheap I got it for £12.45. I have been using it and trying out all functions over course of about a month but after using for just two days I bought another for my sons.radio works well clear sound and volume goes upto 30db which is awesome for such a mini device.ive tried both usb and sd card and honestly its amazing just press the M for mode until it reaches usb/sd and it will play through and you skip via the ff or rw buttons.Bluetooth now I am so impressed with this function on my tiny boombox I cant tell you I can attach my voice and adjust the volume aswell so whether using youtube Spotify or watching a film you can have this as a speaker for it even attached to husbands laptop to watch a fim and works grrrrreat!alarm function can be a beep radio or from usb/sd, once you have set alarm make sure the little ariel is present on display and obviously left on then it will play directly from your usb/sd to wake you up or if no card usb present it will play from radio. if you don't set the little ariel it will beep. works perfectly.aux...comes with a lead to attach Mp3 player phone etcthe nit comes with a usb charger for attaching to computer for a charge but I used a plug with usb port on it and plug it into mains and it works perfectly.overall this tiny little boombox is packed full of functions which actually work packs a good punch sound wise and best purchase ive made in years.

Good sound on radio very clear, but sound from Bluetooth, is low can not turn up volume very loud, hence only three stars

I ordered for my grandson this thinking it was a CD player, my mistake, but decide to keep it as it was so cheap and had good reviewsI used it today to play music from my IPad and I am really impressed with the sound volume and quality for the price I paid. Fantastic value and so glad that I kept it.The fact that it does not require batteries and can be easily recharged via USB portal is an added bonus.It is small and light so very portable both inside the house and outdoors. I haven't tried the radio or alarm function but I will probablynot use these much if at all.

Everything about it is rather charming, it is smaller than I though it would be, it does what it says on the tin. However, in stand by mode for the alarm clock feature the battery does not last long at all. Forget to charge it and it won't wake you up in the morning.
