Crescent CX6RWM7 7 Piece x6 Combination Wrench Set with Ratcheting Open-End and Static Box-End, Metric, 8-17mm

Saw these and couldn't resist .... I have several draws of spanners and wrench's so cant say i really needed these but an open ended ratcheting spanner !!. I'd bought a pass through row of sockets some month's before from Crescent and was very impressed with the quality of them so took delivery of these spanners and i have to say i'm even more impressed ... they work flawlessly and finish 'Black Industrial' looks really good.... so far I've only used 3 sizes and they do exactly what they've been designed to do and the price makes you smile from ear to ear ............ go ahead treat yourself you wont be disappointed !

I do recommend it, it's a very good product, only real shame that can not be avoided is the black paint getting stripped but doesn't stop it's functionality

Not sure if this was a silly purchase. Needed some open ended spanners and saw these. They certainly work (which is good) and cause interest amongst those who have seen them (which isnt really the point of a spanner but is nice to have as a bonus) My only concern is that the ratchet makes them more open to failure than a normal spanner so I wonder if they will last. On the other hand I dont worry about that when buying a normal ratchet set so I may be being overly picky

Good product but would be better if the ring end was ratcheted as well.. I bought this purely for the open end rachet and they work perfectly

Looks good in the add but not that good in practice. awkward to use and slips if not perfect fit. ratchet mechanism is easy to get jammed.

Great product just what I needed

Having looked at this product for the past couple months, I finally decided to buy it. It was delivered promptly to my chosen pick up location and the product itself is fantastic; it compliments my Bahco ratchet set

These are brilliant I get cramp in my hand while useing the usual spanners but these while useing my hands were cramp free

The spanners look well made and finished. However after some use it has become apparent that the ratchet mechanism in the open end is fragile. The 8mm ratchet broke at the first use - see the images where the first image shows an unbroken Crescent wrench and the second image shows where the ratchet piece has broken away. The static box end seems to be solid enough.
