A very satisfactory birdie
This net is pretty much identical to all the other nets of equal size and sometimes nearly twice the price. It replaced a 10 year old Longridge net that didn't have the floor sheet, but construction and frame were the same on inspection. No doubt they're all from the same factory in China! The mat does not protect the lawn and with irons it wears out really quickly, so you'll need an alternative, but it's only supplied as a sweetener. You also have to retrieve it from the net as it scoops up once you strike the ball. Not used the range balls provided as it seemed more sensible to use one's usual ball, but it's a nice addition if you don't want to wear the cover with repeated striking, particularly if you play a more expensive ball. I don't think any net in this budget would stand a driver with a real ball so maybe stick to the soft ones - I find the coloured Callaway HX balls the best for this as they still offer a little feedback feel-wise, unlike the foam or plastic ones. Thankfully, you don't need to attach the target area if you don't want to and so can avoid some of the issues other reviewers have experienced. All in all, great for practising with a 3 to say a 7 or 8 iron (you'll be getting very close to the net otherwise) and with a real ball. It can also be used with practice balls for chipping (garden size allowing) or driving. Great value for year round, anytime practise!

right price-just.
i expect when something is offered at a discount price that it should be of a better quality and better value for money than an item sold at a lower price as standard, this product isn`t. it`s just about worth the discounted price, firstly, the grass mat isn`t any use at all, you`d be better off using a slice of the cardboard box the net comes in, secondly the "free lake balls"are free for a reason, thats all they are worth. they are nothing like the ones shown in the picture, they really are dirty old and very used, some of them actually are dirty old range balls that have never seen a lake. i have used lake balls in the past and they usually prove to be very good valoe for money, the only saving grace is the actual practice net. it does an acceptable job for £46 quid. having said that i wouldnt recommend this product overall because overall it is disapointing.

Good Value
This is a very good golf driving net that is fairly tall and wide. You will not have to worry about driving the ball outside the net, even if you aren't a good golf player like myself! However, the assembly of the product is not great which is why this is got 4 instead of 5 stars. It took me about 30mins to assemble and the instructions are not very clear at all. If you are buying this with a view to dismantling & assembling it very frequently, I would not recommend it as it is a hassle!Having said that, once the net is all set up, you will quickly forget about all this as you get 24 golf balls which makes it probably the best value for money driving net out there.

It’s quite easy to set up for one person.
5 stars if it weren’t for the patch of grass, just 1 foot square. 😩

Great practice for the budding golfer
Bought this net for my young son who is learning to play golf. as well as lessons on a driving range, he loves to practice at home in our garden. Prior to getting this net, he was hitting golf balls into and over our hedge and our windows were in danger as well. Many of the golf balls ending up in our neighbours gardens. Now we have this practice net, which is much cheaper than me having to pay for replacement windows/green houses etc.the net is large and well made(although I wouldn't leave it erected all year round). It comes in it's own carryall storage bag.Although the instructions are basic, I quickly put it together and it has had lots of use. The supplied small mat to place the golf ball on prior to hitting, is very small so we replaced it with a coir doormat which doesn't fly off when you hit the ball. Aside from that it is very good and my son and I are pleased with it.

Overall ok, but not for swing speeds of 95+ mph in it's present state.
I bought this about 3 weeks ago and while it's a well thought out and easy to assemble bit of kit, there a couple of things the need improving, after a few days using the outer was unable to stop a stray shot and consequently the ball burst a hole in it.A few days later the same thing happened with the inner lining, essentially making the net as a whole redundant, although I will attempt to do a DIY repair job, but I would suggest to the manufacturers that the strength of both the outer net and inner lining be increased considerably.

Not bad for the money.
It’s not expensive so can’t be too harsh. It’s a bit flimsy and the target sheet only lasts about 6 shots before it splits . I’ve used it though so not too bad for the cheap price. You definitely need two or three people to assemble it!
