Sylvanian Families - Seaside Restaurant

In comparison to a number of other restaurant/building sets that SF offers, I would say this is one that is well-worth your money. I manage to get this when the price was down to some 16.50GBP thereabouts, and there was free postage too. Considering this set has over 65 pieces, inclusive of cutlery, seafood-themed food, wicker-patterned furniture, stickers/cardboard pieces, and that this costs 30GBP by itself without postage from the official SF website, I'd recommend buying this for any SF enthusiast, lover or collector.Perhaps the down-side to this, some may say, is that there are no figures included, but to me it isn't a problem, as I own many figures of my own and also find it troublesome to collect additional figures if the figure included in the set was not already a member of a SF family I own. Nevertheless, the intricacy and durability of this product lives up to the usual SF standards. Thumbs up from a happy collector!

Love this set, it has LOADS of bits and pieces to play with to set up the seaside restaurant, and it is very charming.Love the size, not too big or small, and it is a lovely idea.

I bought this for my partners 5 year old daughter for christmas, and it is fantastic. excellent quality item just like all the other sylvanian products. great detail, and all the items inside are really well made. I definately reccommend this to anyone who likes sylvanians and to anyone thinking of this for small children, it really encourages their imagination, fantastic.

Not worth £40, but worth the £20 that i paid on Amazon. Lots of tables and chairs. Lots of tiny items of food, so not good for little ones, hoovers, dogs, or messy children who won't tidy away! My kids have lots of fun with this, it comes with a little pond too.

This is a fantastic addition to the Sylvanian range, both my daughter and I loved it and spent a happy afternoon setting it up. It has a lot of stickers and cutouts to make up, some go in specific places, others allow for imagination. There are a LOT of tiny parts to lose here or vacuum up so needs a storage pot too. The food, menu cards, and place settings are really well thought out, very appealing. What I was even more delighted to discover is that it connects with other pieces so our starter cottage will sit on top - brilliant! There was something else pictured on the box that's not included, a leisure-boat if I recall, and my daughter expected that to be inside and was disappointed to learn its a separate purchase.

This is a Christmas present so haven't opened this yet but I bought It on sale and was a good price at 22pounds, looks very detailed as always with this brand, I'm sure my daughter will love this set

Great set for my daughters Xmas, had been out of stock everywhere or inflated in price, as described and daughter had hours of fun with it

My daughter and her family live abroad, owning and running two restaurants. One is right on the seaside and my granddaughter will absolutely love this. She won't be having it until I visit for her 5th birthday in September so can't tell you about sturdiness but no doubt like all the other Sylvanian Family items it will be perfect.
