I have been using the Astro A50's 4th Gen since December of 2021 and have been loving them since. Most noticeable feature is the awesome sound quality that they output. However, the ear muffs have gotten much of that gamer gunk and it was time for a new pair. I thought it was not necessary to purchase the kit Astro offers, so I made the mistake of buying these as they looked comfortable and more affordable. BIG MISTAKE! These immediately began to drown out the awesome quality that Astro has to offer. It may seem like a better deal, but the consequences of cheapening out are immediately noticed as soon as you replace the ear pieces. Don't believe me? Try it out and listen to your favorite song? Then go back to the original pieces and listen to it again; the difference is Night and Day! Don't make my mistake and buy the official kit to keep the awesome sound quality.
