Mothercare Wedge Pillow

This is a great pregnancy pillow. I'm currently 29 weeks and have been using this for about the past week. I've had a better sleep with it as it slides under my bump to provide a bit of support whilst sleeping which stops me getting pain on the opposite side where my bump falls towards the bed. The only downside so far is that I only have to use the very edge (thinnest) part of the wedge under my bump as the angle is too steep so it pushes my bump up too far if it is fully under me - if that makes sense. However I'm not sure if it will be more useful later in my pregnancy. I also use it behind my back when sitting on the sofa and in bed to support the hollow of my back and it does a fantastic job at this and keep my back much straighter. I love the smell size of the wedge, it is just a perfect size to use under bump and behind my back and is easy enough to grab hold of and move about into position in bed with you - I found the larger pregnancy pillows to be heavy and cumbersome when trying to reposition in the night! I paid £8 incl. delivery for this pillow and in my eyes that's a bargain compared to some other pillows.

I've struggled to find a comfortable pregnancy pillow and this works pretty well for my heavy bump, although I still find I get backache and pain in my hips as the night goes on. It's nice that this is fairly small, and it doesn't need to be any bigger. I put it under my bump when I'm lying on my side. I like that I can still cuddle my husband, as I previously had a much larger pillow which took up a lot of space between us and was difficult to turn over with. This pillow smelled quite strong when it arrived, but it wore off after a couple of days of airing and a couple of days of use.

I finally feel like I've slept for the first time since sprouting a bump! I didn't get on with a large maternity pillow as I felt swamped in bed by it and claustrophobic. This is perfect and doesn't make me overheat.It's very firm and small enough not to get in the way of my breasts or my legs but it supports my bump perfectly allowing me to sleep on my side without causing pain in my bump or hips. It's also very portable. I haven't tried it in other ways such as a back wedge yet but I'm sure it will be just as good.This, with a small cushion between my knees, has given me on the best night's sleep so far. Fully recommend.

This pillow was invaluable during pregnancy. I first used it to stop me rolling on my back in very early pregnancy and then went on to use it once my bump was big to hold it in place so i wouldnt flop forward. The only thing to note is it is small and only really good for bump support not big enough as a back support cushion. Having said that I would definitely recommend.

Didn't really help me at all during pregnancy! Much smaller than the pictures and the label is so itchy when you use the cushion in between your legs. Not comfortable at all

The woes of pregnancy. During the later part of my pregnancy it was so difficult to actually sleep. You cant sleep on your back due to baby being restricted and kicking the life out of you. Being on your side is really uncomfortable too. So i bought this wedge and i wish id bought it much sooner. I was able to use it perfectly to support me whilst on my side, sropped me rolling over, propped me up basically. Recommend.

Loved this wedge. Used it every night , great wee pillow was the perfect support for my bump comfortable easy to move into different positions throughout the night!

I think these are very old stock. After removing the cover the foam looks very old.
