South Africa

I bought this as a gift for my mum who will be going on holiday to South Africa in November .. She will not put the book down :) The book contains detailed descriptions and beautiful photographs .. Probably one of the best presents I've bought ..

The book has excellent pictures which offer a good flavour of this beautiful company. There was an earlier version of the book which was rather more comprehensive, but otherwise this is very good, and serves as an excellent souvenir of a wonderful trip for the friend for whom I purchased it. Miniature book, postage stamp sized

I got this as a very thoughtful present as I am about to visit South Africa. Gerald Hoberman is an internationally acclaimed photographer and author. As expected therefor the photography is amazing and the accompanying notes are detailed and interesting without being over taxing and never boring. It has certainly whetted my appetite for my tour. A fine coffee table book.

This was given as a gift to friends who once lived in So. Africa ...They enjoyed the book...The pictures are beautiful...a great gift ...always on their table...

This is a beautiful book on South Africa, but I was surprised to find it to be a small size book. There was no indication of it's size when I purchased it from the Amazon.com web site, so I assumed it was a basic coffee table size book. It is still a well done informative book with absolutely beautiful pictures. I got it for my daughter-in-law who is from South Africa & she really liked it.

I purchased this for a gift. I was surprised at how small the book is. The photographs are beautiful and otherwise it was the perfect book for this friend.
