Perfect and easy to apply

Worked well for me, can be used close to an exhaust on motorcycle sump guard.

This seems to have worked where fire cement just wouldnt - on my wood burner flue. the fire cement would just crumble and crack after a few weeks (Even following the installation instructions to the letter). this silicone was really easy to apply, its gripped the flue and concreate. yes your hands get very dirty, but its easy enough to clean off (or wear plastic gloves). once dried I sprayed with a matt black heat resistant paint and now it looks like the rest of the flue and concreate. very happy not to have to keep scraping out the old fire cement over and over.

Great product does the job really well

I've used bathroom sealant and caulk many times as a diy-er with reasonable results. This product is certainly not as easy to use... the main issue being that the nozzle already has a hole which is far too wide for many applications and certainly for sealing around my new induction Hob. Ended up looking untidy and hoping that once dry it'll peel off to start again. As it is black any wiping off the excess on my wooden counter top made a mess as it leaves a black mark (which I'm sure will sand out). Wipes easily off glass though. So in summary, you need to be pretty decent with using silicone and they should not sell with nozzle already cut.

Al prender el horno de leña por primera vez, pague la novatada y por exceso de leña, la temperatura me subió a 500 grados La silicona aguanto a mas de 300 grados; luego, claro esta, comenzó a soltar un humo negro, pero fue culpa mia, no de la silicona. Por cierto, aun habiendo soportado 500 grados no tiene ninguna perdida en posteriores encendidos del horno. Es la mejor silicona refractaria del mercado.

Ich habe den hitzebeständigen Silikon-Dichtstoff verwendet, um eine Ofenscheibe neu einzusetzen. Dafür hat das Produkt bei mir sehr gut funktioniert. Die Verarbeitung war unkompliziert und der Dichtstoff ließ sich sauber auftragen. Nach dem Aushärten saß die Scheibe wieder fest und dicht, so wie es sein sollte. Besonders positiv ist für mich die Haltbarkeit. Die Reparatur ist inzwischen seit Jahren im Einsatz und hält weiterhin zuverlässig, auch bei regelmäßiger Hitzeeinwirkung am Ofen. Mein Fazit: Für hitzebelastete Anwendungen wie eine Ofenscheibe sehr gut geeignet. Einfach zu verarbeiten, hält zuverlässig und hat sich bei mir langfristig bewährt.
