Eheim Adjustable 100 Air Pump

Excellent aquarium pump, very quiet in operation, two adjustable air outlets. Sturdy machine. Would definitely recommend.

I own the Eheim 100, 200 and 400 air pumps for 4 years now and I love the Eheim brand simply because of the german engineering quality. I own there external filters, air pumps (100,200,400) and multiple other products. There products never fail to impress me. These Eheim air pumps are clearly excellent quality. Very durable and rubberised feel, can be wall mounted, individual and adjustable air outlets, these are very quiet compared to others on the market, i simply always put a piece of under tank foam underneath them just to stop vibration noise on the tank cabinet. Quietest air pumps i've ever bought i would buy again if needed. Eheim are a great quality brand so probably last me years to be fair. These are powerful air pumps not weak like some others.Some people saying they are not quiet, no air pump will be 100% quiet and hence i always put my air pumps underneath some foam (fish tank base foam) for example to reduce vibration noise, if you put an air pump on a hard surface ie, wood, glass then you will get vibration noise. I have mine in my tank cabinet and do not know it's even on it's that quiet. You will hear more noise from the air bubbles in the tank than you would hear the air pump. I honestly cannot hear it at all in a quiet room with tv on on low. Would highly recommend this airpump and the Eheim brand in general. I love german engineering as always get good quality products.TIP: Do not forget to buy decent non return valves to prevent water syphoning down air line tubing into the air pump ie, if electric go's out (this prevents flooding, potential electric shock and fire). A cheap must have item for anyone with a air pump. Safety is a must when dealing with water and electrics.Also don't forget to buy airline tubing, It comes with approx 1 meter (approx just over 3 feet) of air line tubing but may not be enough for everyone. just measure and decide if it will be enough. Comes with a diffusor (two with the 400) to which they are adjustable so you can make bubbles bigger/smaller (i personally don't use these myself), nothing wrong with them however.

Upgraded the pump that came with my son's 60l Biorb life, which was ridiculously noisy. This Eheim pump was just an absolute game-changer.LOADS of bubbles, even on the lowest setting. Miles more than previously through the bubble tube. Used the second outlet for one of the airstones provided with the Eheim pump. Caused such a great current that I feel confident we can now have bamboo shrimps.Best bit: SO QUIET! The bubbles are noisier than the pump on all settings. Just amazed that we put up with biorb pump for weeks before investing in this. Best upgrade ever.Note: For anyone with a biorb life wondering, you can add an airstone even if your lid already has a heater cable through it by drilling through the tank above the waterline. Use a wood bit, preferably already dulled a bit, use frog tape on each side where you drill, and go super slowly with hardly any pressure. Catch any swarf on the inside by taping a folded piece of thin plastic (e.g. from windows in food boxes) to the inside. Takes ages but works.

After much research looking for a truly silent air pump I came across reccomendations for this eheim model.1st things 1st, you won't find a traditional air pump that is truly silent so give up hope of that,That being said this model is very quiet but unfortunately the sound from the actual bubbles are very loud which will be the case no matter what pump you use,Even on the lowest setting the pump is extremely powerful, so much so that I had to separately purchase an adjuster valve to lower it even more,The included adjustable air stone seems OK but I did expect it to be better.Delivery was really quick,Eheim products seem to be well made and sturdy so hopefully this lasts well, I also have an eheim canister filter that has been going strong for 3-4 years so have no doubt of the quality.

The first one I received was very noisy whenever the level of bubbles were turned up from minimum. I posted a question on this product page and discovered the one I had was faulty as they are supposed to be quite. So returned it, in which the return service was brilliant for as soon as it was registered at the post as having been posted I immediately got the refund in Amazon vouchers which allowed me to order a new one straight away for prime next day delivery.The new one was much better as it made no noise when the bubbles level was turned up. The only noise is the sounds of the bubbles! I do have mine sitting on a rubber mat which may make the unit quieter? The only time it becomes noisy is if a cable etc should make contact with the unit.Overall I’m impressed with this air pump.

I had prettymuch resigned myself to the fact all air pumps are noisy. Having set up a temporary quarantine tank, I set up the air pump, bearing mind there is one already running on my main tank & it is noisy. The pump i set up really was so noisy, giving me a headache. Off to Amazon looking for something quieter, which when quarantine is finished can be switched over to my Fluval shaker. It took a while researching & reading until i came across the Eheim 100. This pump is a game changer, it is almost silent, i can hear the bubbles more than the pump. Fantastic, at last, several years of noisy air pump & finally silence is in sight. It also has a dial so can run quite gently if required but good flow when turned up full. Came with airline & stop valve. Perfect! Problem solved, thank you Eheim for a wonderful product.

Molto rumorosa, vibra tantissimo, non si può mettere su un ripiano di legno perché vibra, neanche appendere perché si muove tantissimo e sbatte se non è fissata perfettamente... ho provato per terra, va meglio, ma nel silenzio si sente comunque tanto! Restituita

Cette pompe à air est irréprochable, elle est effectivement très silencieuse pour une pompe à membrane (certaines turbines de filtres font plus de bruit !) et elle est bien équipée (bulleur + ventouse et tuyau à air), et tout le monde connaît la réputation de Eheim !ATTENTION PAS DE PANIQUE AVEC LA PRISE ANGLAISE !!! Le boîtier se dévisse et laisse apparaître une prise européenne à l'intérieur (voir photos) ! J'ai effectivement failli renvoyer l'article car non conforme, et en vérifiant dans les commentaires des clients j'ai trouvé l'astuce, heureusement !Le vendeur devrait le préciser dans la description de son produit, ça lui éviterait des commentaires négatifs (j'étais parti pour en mettre un) et ça éviterait aux acheteurs des retours inutiles.

Seit Jahren bin ich genervt von brummenden Luftpumpen für unser Aquarium. Nach langem suchen habe ich mich dazu entschieden der Produktbeschreibung zu glauben und siehe da: es brummt nichts (jedenfalls nicht hörbar), sondern rauscht nur noch leicht durch die Bläschen. Der mitgelieferte Luftausströmer ist dabei auch deutlich leiser als der Stein, den ich bisher angeschlossen hatte. Ich habe die Pumpe am Aquariumsschrank mit einer Schraube aufgehängt und es übertragen sich damit keine hörbaren Schwingungen. Die Pumpe macht insgesamt einen sehr soliden und wertigen Eindruck,.Etwas irritiert war ich zwar zuerst vom montierten klobigen Netzstecker für UK, zumal sich keinerlei Hinweis darauf in der Bedienungsanleitung findet. Man kann Ihn aber durch das Aufschrauben des Steckergehäuses entfernen, darin kommt ein ganz normaler Eurostecker zum Vorschein - es ist also nur ein Adapter.Alles in allem bin ich von der Pumpe begeistert, und hoffe sie macht mir lange Freude!
