Used this Autosol paste on the metal boot liner in my car and was really impressed with the results. It was easy to apply and buff off, and it brought the metal back to a much cleaner, brighter finish, removing light marks and dullness. A little goes a long way, and the paste feels like a quality product. Great for anyone wanting to restore and maintain metalwork on their car. Highly recommended. Great value for money. Use this as a general purpose metal polish around the house, its not the first time I've bought/used it, but it replaced some of the Peek brand which I picked up in the US, and I think Autosol is better. Used for a number of things I can recently think of.. Wife has a couple of old Singer sewing machines that we are slowly getting back to use. They have some metal trim, Its been great to clean up the tarnish/oxidisation. Sometimes I've used a polling bit on a dremmel to get into the nooks and crannies. I shave with old style 'double edge' (or DE) razors, and they quickly get clogged up with dried shaving soap. Every now and again I give my current razor a good clean and then a polish up with autosol. I think they are chrome plated, not show chrome, more of an industrial, long lasting finish. I've been restoring some old fishing reels that are cast metal under the old paint finish. After stripping the old paint off (using a paint stripper), I've used autosol and a lot of elbow grease to bring the bare metal to a polished finish, which I'm really pleased with. (to the extent I don't want to use it on the fishing bank and get it dirty!). Finally, we had a rust mark in our stainless steel kitchen sink where an empty can of baked beans was left over the weekend and left a rusty circle. Autosol removed it, and blended the area in with the surrounds so it was unnoticeable. Solvol is great to bring a lustre to metal, including removing oxidisation, but its not going to repair damage, so if chrome has been pitted or flaking, it's not going to magically replace it, But what it will do is clean it up and make it a lot more presentable.

This metal polish works amazingly well! It removes tarnish quickly and leaves a brilliant shine on stainless steel and chrome. A little goes a long way, and the tube lasts for ages. Perfect for home use and for keeping bikes or kitchen items looking new. Highly recommend!

Very impressive. I could have taken longer and continued on the inside but just wanted to do a quick shine to check it out. Make sure you use 0000 wire wool. ONLY The first image shows one side done. Definitely recommend

Product is prima, maar verzending is zeer slecht aangekomen.Het blik was open en gedeukt.Er was al product uitgelopen! Dus de transporteur heeft er mee gegooid of laten vallen. Zou het nog beter verpakken, zodat het hiertegen bestand is.

This paste contains aluminium oxide, which is highly effective for polishing any metal and achieving a mirror-like shine. I recently applied it to an antique brass pot covered with a thick layer of dark tarnish, and the result was a stunningly reflective surface. I spent 30+ years of my life devoted to a polish in a can stuffed with cotton. I was out one day and had a purple rust on my chrome rims left from a winter of salted roads in ND. My brother pulled out his Autosol. and told me to try it. I had brand loyalty to my product and refused. What an idiot I was. My brother started using it on my rims and I was amazed at how effortless it was to remove this purple rust. My rims never looked better. My only criticism of Autosol is their marketing department needs to be fired. There isn't a better product to be had and the vast majority have no idea it exists. I bought a 20 year old Honda motorcycle that looked rough but had low miles. I used Autosol on every part I could use it on and of course repainted the bike. It looked nearly new when I was done. Will never use anything else.
