We've had this set for a few weeks now. The eye patch is made out of quite hard plastic so my 2-year old doesn't really like it too much, but he does wear it - more often than not in the middle of his forehead! The earring is cute and a nice extra, but what I really like is the sword. It's very shiny and has withstood some fairly serious "chopping". He hasn't gone full whack with it as we tell him to "chop gently" but it's still going strong after a good many solid hits to it. Don't expect something that will last for years but it is a decent quality for the price and certainly hasn't fallen apart after quite a few enthusiastic plays.

It is what it is but my LO won’t be able to wear the eye patch, it doesn’t fit well and is hard plastic so she couldn’t wear it at all. The earring keeps falling apart but it’s easily fixed (as long as you don’t lose the little clip)The sword is probably a bit dangerous for her age group (3 years)

This was a prop for a pirates of the Caribbean party.

Bought this for my nephew who was over the moon with his first pirate sword as he is obsessed with anything pirate related. Within half an hour this had snapped in half and he was devastated which makes me upset too. Do not buy this item unless you want an upset child. I know it’s not an expensive item but should last more than half an hour.

Great accessory pack for a pirate (child) the two colour sword withstanded a day of pirate adventure at school, and is solid, without being too firm, so I wasn’t worried about injuries. It has a lot of flex in it, and the point wasnt sharp, but obviously care is needed with small children. The eye patch elastic lasted the actual day, and is still going strong, but the most popular thing with my little boy was the clip on large loop gold earring. No one else had one, and he thought it a grea thing, and wore it all day. It clips on, but there was no real pressure, and it stayed on, probably depends on the shape of your ear, but it was great
