I researched in great depth prior to purchasing this salt lamp because I really wanted to be sure I was buying a genuine himalayan salt lamp. The internet is inundated with salt lamps all claiming to be "genuine".The Levoit brand came highly recommended on both reviews and searches so I purchased on this basis. I can honestly say I was not disappointed.The lamp came beautifully packaged in a lovely red box. It would make a fantastic present on this basis as its all gift wrapped and boxed.The lamp itself is of a very high quality and looks absolutely stunning when lit up, its also very calming and relaxing.To prove its authenticity it actually leaks salt from time to time but it is not messy.I have had some issues with the dimmer and am in contact with the seller who are very proactive.Infact I am so impressed by Levoit I will shortly be purchasing the Aria lamp for my lounge.I would recommend spending alittle more money and go for this genuine product, afterall you get what you pay for.

This is a lovely salt lamp with dimmer. Quite small but well made with a nice chrome base. Only buy these salt lamps if you intend using them most days or you will find a puddle round them!II have several salt lamps in my home and I've found them very beneficial.I live in an old stone house which can sometimes smell a little damp and these have definitely improved the air quality. The rooms i have them in feel fresher. They give a lovely relaxing glow and ambience too. As I mentioned above you do need to use them a few hours every day or they become damp. I have two in my living room which I have on in the evenings and one in the bedroom which I use a couple of hours in the morning and often put it on when I go to bed and read. I've fallen asleep to the glow of my salt lamp many times. Id definitely recommend having them in your home.

I bought this lamp in October 2017 it has been used consistently since. I bought spare bulbs and it has used 7 bulbs in just over 2 years - it has been on continuously. If you switch it off you need to enclose it in a polythene or other waterproof bag to ensure the lamp does not efflorescence. I am happy with it and am ordering another. One caveat - the dimmer switch does not work. Doesn’t bother me but seems an unnecessary frippery. Not convinced of health benefits, but psychologically very good.

We received the lamp today and its wonderful to look at. Very heavy and well made. The control is easy to use once you realise its a touch sensor and not a switch you press, it threw us at first. Whether it will clean the air of negative ions I've no idea, but it does create a soothing ambiance. It came with one bulb installed and two more spares which is fine as long as they last. But has anyone found a suitable replacement? I've had a quick look on Amazon and at various other light bulb sellers and I've not found anything like this. These days most bulbs are LED anyway. So what do we do when the last bulb goes in? I'd be grateful if anyone can tell me where to buy them.But, as I said in the beginning, its a lovely lamp and one we hope to use for years to come.Update: So far I've been unable to find anywhere that sells e12 15watt bulbs. I've scoured the internet and have been to Maplin etc. but it seems that one the three bulbs that came with the lamp are done, then so will the lamp be. I'm so disappointed as the lamp is lovely. I wish I'd bought a cheaper version with an e14 screw fitting, these bulbs are easy to find in the UK. BEWARE of this problem if you decide to buy this lamp!

I think It’s hard to know 100% if something like this works but we have been using our lamp daily for over 2 months and we both feel our conditions have significantly improved.Recently we didn’t have the lamp switched on for 3 days and I started to notice my allergy symptoms returning. Also my husband was waking in the night wheezy with his asthma and eczema reappeared on his legs. We both had to revert to using medication we’d not needed since we bought the lamp. The only change we’d made was not using the lamp. After a few days using it again we are back to being symptom free!We have just purchased a second (larger) levoit salt lamp for downstairs.I would highly recommend purchasing a salt lamp to anyone with allergies, asthma or eczema. I also believe it may be helping us sleep more soundly at night & I have noticed a significant reduction in my anxiety symptoms.

I've actually now purchased four of these Levoit lamps for myself, close family, and friends ...and they've all been very impressed with their Kyra's.Unfortunately one of the lamps, despite only occasional use during a circa 12+ month period, developed a rather sticky (albeit rather stylish looking) dimmer switch, and eventually became very reluctant to even power on.I contacted Levoit due to the aforementioned frustration and without any hassle and with immediate response offered to send out a replacement lamp.So I'd like to express my sincere thanks to Bella in the Customer Support Team for the above ...it is indeed a quality product backed up by quality service - sadly somewhat of a rarity these days.

Ordered this product as i heard how himalayan salt was used to help with people who suffer with alergies and chest problems, my boyfriend has an ongoing lung complaint and often doesn't sleep well so thought i would try out the lamp as soon as i plugged it in there was a sense of calm in the room (bedroom) i left it on low all night and both of us had a really great night sleep ive continued to leave the lamp on, and have found that he doesn't cough as much and sleeps alot better even i am noticing how well im sleeping, even the cat sleeps up by it, great purchase when we have our own place il purchase a couple more and have them in other rooms. Beautiful lamp. This is my second purchase, having previously bought a larger salt lamp for the living room, I wanted a slightly smaller one for the bedroom. This gives a lovely glow (not strong enough to be a reading light) and really does make me feel calm and relaxed. I do feel the health benefits of salt lamps and this one has the added bonus that it looks great too.
