Yes, it is a series of mini-games based around iconic rides at Disneyland--the River Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, for example. You also walk/run through the various areas of the park. Controls are more suited to older children, which is unfortunate, since the game really appeals to the younger set. My 3-year-old grandson loves it but has to have me do the actual play. A map lets you quickly jump from land to land in the park. You can actually get a walkthrough of the game on YouTube. Just search for the game and you will find a video of gameplay that clocks in at over an hour and a half. Great for a kid about to go to Disneyland/Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom or as a souvenir for someone who has visited already.

Q: Is this Kinect 2.0 compable, like the x360 version?

This Xbox One version of Disneyland Adventures supports input from either the Xbox One Kinect or standard controllers.

Q: is it two players (as in two players in the same location..... not online)?

Yes, one or two players locally (not online) BUT the second player really can't move through the world on their own. (The first player does the running around. The second player mostly tags along.) The second player does have independent movement in most mini-games though, so I think it's still an enjoyable two-person experience.

Q: This game can be played offline?

No - must have internet. The new XBOX one requires the CD be downloaded (using the internet), and then to play as well.
