Best stuff for platinum blond hair, doesn't turn it purple or lilac. Smell is wonderful.

Lots of disparate reviews for this and the conditioner. Here is my experience. This works great for me, used occasionally. My hair is not platinum but dark blonde, and my ends get light. Other brass correcting treatments have done nothing for me, so I took a chance with this. I use the shampoo once every couple of weeks. I use the conditioner more often: once a week directly after shampooing, and once or twice after my regular conditioner focusing on the ends where the brass is. Everyone's hair absorbs differently. For me, leaving it on 3 or 4 minutes is enough. I saw little difference in brassiness after the first combined use of the shampoo and conditioner, but my hair appeared a hint darker. I waited several days before the next use, and then experimented until I got it right. Now, the brass is nearly eliminated without darkening my hair overall. It is not drying for my hair but leaves it soft and shiny. Bottom line: if the first use doesn't impress you, keep at it until you figure out what frequency and application type works for your hair.

It did what it said I would ! I initially rinsed out 1-2 min because my hair was damaged I didn’t get the results I wanted So I shampooed my hair again I left the shampoo on my hair for 5 minIt made my hair softer and less dry and covered the orange hair ! I’ll buy the product again

I was a bright light blonde in my childhood but my hair has darkened overtime. So it doesn't seem to work drastically for me, but it definitely tones! but for my two kids who are bright blonde, he takes the yellow out and leaves their hair shiney and almost silver!It smells kinda like purple grape medicine, but in a good way not yucky! And the scent isn't overpowering and it doesn't bother my highly sensitive allergies.Very pleased and will buy again

So here’s the scoop, this stuff leaves my hair feeling not dried out and it has kind of a grape bubblegum type smell to it so it’s not gawd awful like some blonding shampoo. But, if you have light blonde hair and you like your platinum or your beautiful Light buttery blonde hair do not put this in there. You will regret it and be sad about it… I went to the salon and had them do some powder in my hair to get that toner out, but if you have an ash blonde or maybe silvery hair, that’s maybe on a darker side this stuff would probably work perfect for you. It just really wasn’t for me because I like my light blonde hair.

This is the best shampoo for very light blonde or platinum hair! Makes hair super shiny and full of volume!
