Bought this on price. When I received and fitted one it looked fine and I installed it on a camera outdoors. However after four months and needing to replace the camera batteries I found the thread fully rusted and jammed in the camera. Potentially I could have damaged the camera getting it off. Whilst the threaded extension is shiny when new the plating is very thin and rusts quickly. Purchasing this is a false economy.

These are good they allow you to mount the camera and move it about more, would recommed

Much better than the cheap plastic ones I previous purchased!
