Great cook book with clear instructions. Very fun recipes.

Really love the recipes in here, my only qualms are that the recipes require a bit of translating from American to English cooking, that a good number of ingredients are hard or expensive to come by, and that there isn't the most even weighting of recipes eg there's lots of legend of zelda when there could be more of something else. Otherwise very fun and the accompanying descriptions are great

Bought as a gift for my friend who loves to cook and who is of course really into all the shows this book offers recipes for! He absolutely loves it and I’m so happy I bought this for him! Can’t wait to sample the goods when he does them. Great book filled with superb easy recipes and definitely worth the money! Arrived quickly, well packaged and is great quality. Very happy!

This is the fourth time I've bought this book, so you can safely say that I think it's amazing! The first was for myself, service for a friend's birthday, third for an anniversary and forth for my brothers birthday. The recipes are amazing and the best thing is there are no "open your industrial size blast chiller" or any obscure ingredients, it's all things that you can get at a normal supermarket and using every day kitchen equipment. Love it!

I bought this for a colleague's Secret Santa gift, and also for my brother and sis-in-law. Both parties were really pleased to receive the book, and so far, my brother has enjoyed making Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster cocktails. He described the taste of that cocktail as "a fancy G&T". I saw the book as something fun, to tell the fanboy or girl in your life that you get them, and to give them a chance to enjoy a bit of silliness while making drinks or dinner.

I have a very clever and very tricky nephew to buy for. He has just started cooking as at university. He absolutely loved this cook book. I felt like a proud auntie!!!!

I bought this for my sister and now everyone wants one. I'm not geeky enough to appreciate the recipes myself but everyone else got very excited about it. It's very well made with beautiful pictures and a background on each recipe, and it's made well so it should last.

This is a great book! Admittedly, I don't really consider myself a "geek" (much), I'm really not into science fiction (I tolerate it because I love my husband) and I'm really not part of the "gaming generation", but I LOVE cookbooks and LOVE cooking and trying new recipes. Cassandra Reeder has done a phenomenal job with this, sharing her passion in a creative, humorous, and unconventional way. So much so, I might have to consider getting more "geeky"! hahaha! The photos in the book are beautifully done, letting you see the end product in a very thematic way. Just reading the book is uplifting, and I haven't even tried any of the recipes yet. I've purchased many a cookbook that have left me disappointed once I have it my hands. This was quite the opposite. Can't wait to try the Lamb Stew with Plums, the Bowl O' Brown, the Dragonbreath Chili, Shawarma, and drink them down with some Klah, Butter Beer, Moloko Plus and maybe some Graf.. - as well as others... I can only imagine how much more enjoyable you'll find this book if you are more "geeky" and into fantasy and science fiction than I. I highly recommend it!

ho regalato questo libro al mio fidanzato ... all'interno vi sono molte ricette simpatiche che ha realizzato per me! lo consiglio a tutti coloro che si son sempre chiesti come realizzare alcune bevande o pietanze dei film o dei video giochi :)

Está muy divertido, pero aunque lo primero que mencionan en la portada es Doctor Who, sólo viene una receta, fish sticks with custard

So far every recipe has been delicious. The little blurbs about the recipe are fun and relatable. The pictures in the book don't match what the recipe actually tells you to do but the food is worth the slight deception.
