Good for the price I paid.
I bought a few of these (minimum order is 4) to scatter round the house and give me some feel for where more heat was needed and where some heat could be saved. Some amusement was given by the conflict between the minimum order (4) and Amazon's maximum order at the time (2). 4 turned up.These are not spectacularly pretty being made of plastic but they work. I cannot speak for the accuracy, but all give the same reading which is a reasonable indication that they work adequately well.Good for the price (£1.39 each) I paid.

Domestic Thermometer
No problem with delivery or usage - in our case we wanted a thermometer to be placed inside a fridge to verify the fridge settings.

Decent job at a low price
Excellent budget device. Test calibration shows it's good to go at 0 degrees, but like all capillary tubes, fixed at one end with a linear scale, the reading gets more inaccurate as you stray from 0 and allowing for the "house effect" (attached to the outside of your house it will register a high reading because of the thermal influence of your imperfectly insulated home) I reckon at a reading of 22 degrees, the air temp is actually about 20, which is perfectly acceptable for this kind of meter, and agrees well with my local meteorological sub-station.

You get what you pay for!
It was cheap, but it doesn’t withstand temperatures below freezing. My daughter conducted an experiment with it and left it in the freezer- but forgot about it. Three days later and the reading was impossible as the liquid had split into two globules in the glass. Might be ok and worth a punt for the price but I wouldn’t bother if you’re needing accuracy.

AVOID. CHINESE MADE RUBBISH.
I have tried these from ebay and amazon. Its chineese rubbish that never works.Always seating at 28 degrees even though its near to zero in December. Dont get a replacement. Just get your refund as all these types of cheap room thermometer never work.

Great price, no frills
For those of us who still haven't got used to degrees centigrade, it's getting harder to find plain, tasteful yet easy to read thermometers with both C and F on. I bought several of these as they are an excellent price too. Recommended.
