If you own a boat or jetski this is your best friend. You can capture all the oil and then pump it back into the jugs. Also great to bleed breaks.

I used this fluid extractor to partially drain the transmission on my Subaru Legacy. I've read of others only getting about 4 qts of ATF drained through the drain plug but I got over 5 qts out with this extractor. My little pancake air compressor was not able to provide enough air to keep suction (no fault of this item), but the manual pump was effective and easy allowing me to complete the task. I was worried that the suction tubes would have fluid stuck to the insides after draining but the fluid did not stick. Pouring out the old fluid into a container for recycling was suprt easy as well. I can't wait to use this again for all of my future fluid changes.

Good stuff so easy to use it

While featuring an attractive design and marketed as "heavy duty", this is one of the worst products I have ever purchased. At best, suited for light duty DIY. This product would never survive in any shop.Take special note of where the metal air inlet attaches to the plastic handle. It appears that any bump or tug on the air hose would easily strip the weak (short, fine pitch) plastic thread. A new design is needed.This product arrived broken with threads stripped and the air fitting loose in the bottom of the box.I had originally ordered four of these and was really excited about the clean design. Once I saw the poor build quality and weak plastic threads, I returned all four and ordered a more robust all-metal product.

Came packaged and works as advertised! A quick search on YouTube to figure out how to use because doesn’t come with very good instructions. But other than that, works great! Watch how hot liquid is before using though, as it may collapse hose and/or drum. Common sense is all it takes but good quality for the price. It extracted 6L of oil out of my Audi in less than 10 min with compressed air all without getting ramps/jack stands and tools, crawling under vehicle, etc. Absolutely worth it just for saving time and effort!
