P is for Potty! (Sesame Street) (Lift-the-Flap)

Having a 2-year old obsessed with Elmo and all things Sesame Street is fantastic - though never considered it actually useful until purchasing P Is For Potty! This, paired with our Elmo & Dorothy potty, is really doing the trick. It is a brilliant way of explaining to children the joys of potty training. Pages are thick card, each flap is interesting (there are loads of hidden treasures!) and the story is excellent.

This has proved an excellent purchase for encouraging my son to use the potty. He loves Elmo. Having a story that centres on using the potty somehow brought it to life for him and he's been much more excited to use it since. He often chooses to read this story and enjoys peeking under all the flaps. He has also been able to relate to Albie, saying "like me" when it talks about wearing pull ups now and learning to use the potty. The only drawback is the American term 'diaper', though I found it no problem to just read out 'nappy' instead.

If the half dozen potty related books I bought just for the bathroom this was by far the most entertaining for my son. The story isn't really great but he loves the flaps (at least 5 per page)

My son really likes this book, there are absolutely loads of flaps to lift. Only downside is it uses American vocabulary, which makes sense but isn’t something I thought of before. Luckily son can’t read so I just translate!

Best potty book! I’ve purchased two because first one was used so much and I lent out to friends. It’s our every night bedtime story!

Fantastic flap book for potty training. There are lots of flaps with hidden pictures on each page. My 21 Month old loves it.

I bought it as a Bday present for a 2-year-old, along with an Elmo soft toy. I haven't heard back yet regarding how effective this book is with her potty training, but she found it interesting when she received it.

My daughter loves this book. Great training tool and keeps her so entertained lifting all the flaps

We used this to train our toddler. He was really scared at the first but with this book he was comfortable enough to go to the loo on his own. The book is very interactive and sticks to the point. The best thing about this book was that it engaged our child where it was an activity where he always came and looked at the book.

Potty training essential. The lift-the-flaps in this book are so helpful when trying to keep your child on the potty it’s really engaging. My child never tired of this book when potty training.

This is a great book! Very interactive and definitely made our baby more excited to use the potty.

Great to read to the little one during potty training

Wonderful book. My granddaughter loves it. Highly recommend
