Hongdian N7 Blue Peacock Resin Piston Fountain Pen, Iridium Long Blade Fine Nib Classic Pen, Smooth Writing Pen with Metal Box

Long nib version. I forgot about the "closed system" for refilling the pen and was looking for a way to open it. But, once I figured out the very easy rotation of the endpiece all was clear! With the long nib the writing sensation and - quality are easily up in the league of £100 or £150 pens. That nib is something else! Overall excellent quality, beautiful colour and clearly a pen for every day, it will last for years!

I use fountain pens everyday in my work & I chose this one with the long nib. A good choice! This pen writes so well, one of the smoothest pens to write with. No scratching on paper & it's doesn't bleed ink onto the paper. I bought the colour blue for the exterior case & it looks very professional. I had to wait just a few extra days for the delivery for the colour I chose - but well worth the wait. All in all a superb writing experience from an Outstanding Quality Fountain Pen and very good service from the supplier.

Value for money is great. Solidly built with a fair amount of heft, this piston filling pen is finished well and looks great. Feels a bit back heavy posted and the nib/feed alignment could have been better. The long point fine nib is like the Sailor Zoom nib or Naginata-togi in shape and although fine on the down stroke, it is wide on the horizontal, the opposite of a stub nib. I think this could have been clearer in the description. I wish with hindsight I had ordered the standard fine but I shall persevere I am sure I will get used to it. This is the second of their pens I’ve ordered and I can’t believe the quality of pen for the price. From the first fill writes smoothly without skipping and immediately every time you take the cap off. This one is a little lighter than the black resin/lacquer one I have.

Very attractive, works well and writes like a dream. This writes better than a lot of my more expensive fountain pens so that's a good lesson learnt for me. Plus it has a bunny design, what's not to love? I highly recommend this pen, it looks stunning and writes beautifully

This is a great fountain pen. Beautiful colours, seems very well made, plus a great price.

5 months old and leaking. Ink leaking through the barrel. No longer usable. Knib just becoming smoother….takes time to settle. Otherwise good size for large hands and good balance when posted.

E' arrivata puntuale in una buona confezione. la stilografica è molto bella e armoniosa di colore grigio, mi piaceva anche quella verde ma un po troppo carica specialmente sul tappo, mentre trovo la grigio molto più elegante, scrivere fine non mi piace molto preferisco un pennino medio , le ho cambiato il pennino con molta facilità ora la scrittura è fluida e corrente, ha una costruzione robusta, il caricamento dell'inchostro sembra fragile ma non lo è, si carica bene, certo che trattandosi di una stilografica va trattata con delicatezza. Che dire pienamente soddisfatto la sto usando anche in questo momento, ora la userò per alcuni mesi per continuare a provarla e se si mantiene cosi, forse acquisterò anche la verde. La penna è ottima, ed il tratto (pennino long blade) è decisamente particolare. Unica pecca è la chiusura a vite, non ha un vero fine corsa ma diventa progressivamente più dura ed è tutto in plastica: hai la paura che ad avvitare troppo stretto prima o poi si spani, o peggio, si crepi il tappo. Il problema è stato risolto nella N8, ma non ha più la carica a stantuffo con sezione trasparente per controllare il livello, bensì il più comune converter Peccato, perché è una penna molto elegante

Scrive benissimo pennino spettacolare come e meglio di penne ben più care. Consigliata anche se l'aspetto non mi aveva entusiasmato.

Most beautiful fountain pen. It took a couple of attempts, to fill it with ink for the first time. But it is now ready to go. The writing is a lovely fine line. The pen has got a good weight to hold it in balance. Wonderful.

La penna è carina ma nelle foto e molto meglio. Materiali un po' scadenti e fragili soprattutto nel meccanismo di caricamento. Non c'è uno straccio di istruzioni. Non la ricomprerei.
