Does the job and works fine with my existing Makita G series batteries
Does the job and works fine with my existing Makita G series batteries. However, its a bit annoying manufactures have multiple types of batteries because when I need something else that isn't in the G series, I'm likely to look at other brands as I'd have to buy a new battery anyway.

Wrong connection points to fit batteries
Bought this a while ago to make my Makita set only today come to use and found the problem with it.

Need to be clearer on battery type
Bought on the understanding this is an lxt battery powered jigsaw however it’s a different battery !!!!Luckily I have those batteries already otherwise I’d be returning this with a poor review!!

This doesn't use LXT batteries
Unfortunately when I ordered this, thinking it was a bargain, I didn't notice that it uses G-series batteries and not LXT, so whilst the quality and finish were what I expect of Makita, I didn't manage to test it as the LXT batteries I had were incompatible!

lxt batterys dont fit
a decent quality looking jigsaw, unfortunatley didnt get a chance to try it out as it uses its own battery and charger. i have 18v lxt makita tools and the batterys dont fit the g series makita 18v tools.seems a strange decision by makita to not make these compatible with the lxt batterys.

Tolle Stichsäge wie von Makita gewohnt ist robustLeider passen unsere vorhandenen Akkus nicht daher haben wir zurück gegeben Wir haben von Makita das Radio mit tollem Klang den Akkuschrauber u Ladegerät mit zwei Akkus wäre einfach schön gewesen wenn auch die Stichsäge mit den Akkus zu betreiben wäre

Vous oublier de préciser le style de batterie qu il faut pour cet scie sauteuse dommage et le chargeur ou on peut le trouver ce qui est grave car elle' me sert a rien on ne vend pas des produit sans accessoires essayer de m en trouver meme en occase merci de me repondre
