Great value for the money, very easy to use great volume of alarm. Fits any door with a handle. Very sturdy. Great peice of mind when in alone and at night.

Safety and security. Like the alarm system. Very loud.

Needed for son to alert when sleep walking, and its great for this. Its very sensitive. On the highest sensitivity setting, you only need to touch the door handle gently with one finger and the alarm goes off. Literally no idea how it works - very cleaver. It does have its limitations though. There is no remote control to turn it on/off. You need to manually turn it off, which it self triggers the alarm. Also the alarm doesn't sound for long once touched (a matter of seconds)....its not like a burglar alarm that will continue to sound until someone attends to it. And there is no way of alerting you to it going off (eg to your phone), if you are away from it. So absolutely great to stop sleep walking, or to stop young kids getting out etc, not so much as a burglar alarm.

Bought this after a spate of burglaries in my area. It is so simple, but very effective, and very cheap. It gives off a very loud shriek when the handle is moved, which would put anyone off. Very happy with this product, and I feel much safer with it.

I believe I was sent a faulty unit. On testing it worked fine. When I went to bed I was woken by the alarm (so it worked) however when I investigated there was no one, no wind or breeze, no creature but it repeatedly (intermittently as though something was triggering it?) went off and I could see that no one was about?? I did this from the safety of my bedroom, opened the window and saw nothing that could have set it off? Rang Amazon, they arranged for me to return it to the seller. I'm going to put a sticker on the box suggesting this was not brand new because there was no plastic strip to remove from the battery compartment (their instructions was to remove this). I'm ordering another one (hope this one works properly) and will return to this review for an update for you.

This is a great deterrent, literally pull plastic battery tab out, set the loudness level and hang it on the door. My neighbour said she could hear it fine outside. Its very sensitive, it went off when she pressed the doorbell without touching handle, and I set it off by being close but not touching it too. I live alone and door fronts a footpath and occasionally someone tries the handle, hopefully this will deter them and the kiddies running on my ramp. I think you need a metal door handle though, but Id try popping a metal chain on the handle behind it, reckon that may work. Im very pleased with it, and neighbour likes it too, and is pointing one of her cameras to cover my door for me, so Im feeling much safer and will sleep[ better.

Took delivery very recently. I read some reviews with regard to the batteries, so decided to immediately change them for Duracell. So far so good. Having done so, I found the screw to secure the battery cover had no fixing. I could hear the nut rattling around in the unit. Presumably caused by either a poor "captive nut" or just poor design. My cover is now "secured" with sellotape! Not impressed. UPDATE: Just. noticed another buyer with the same problem! Decided to bin mine now, the "nut" is moving freely around the unit and I fear it may "short out" when in use. I bought the Sabre version from Amazon, very much better arrangement for changing the battery and same price!

Just hang it on door handle tighten hanger switch on and it depends on how loud you want it but I’m in a bungalow and lowest setting is quite high not to bulky

Eigentlich ein super Produkt! - laut, einfach anzubringen, - funktioniert hervorragend! - Eigentlich.... - da es in meinen Augen ein großes Manko gibt!- er lässt sich nicht ausschalten ohne Alarm auszulösen! Der Alarm wird angebracht, schaltet man ihn ein, so hat man 6 Sekunden Zeit um sich auf mehrere centimeter zu entfernen. Danach ist der Alarm aktiv. Nähert man sich nun dem Alarm auf wenige Zentimeter (jemand versucht die Türklinke auch nur anzufassen(auch von außen) ) geht der Alarm los! - eigentlich super.. aber abschalten geht eben auch nur indem man ihn anfasst und somit löst man immer dabei Alarm aus!

Diese Alarm tuer griff ist leider nicht ok Knopf lässt sich nicht verstellen und spring viel zu spät an werde ich zurück schicken

Der Türalarm geht bereits los, wenn man ihn einschaltet! So sollte das nicht sein.
