Really impressed with this thermostat. The WiFi connectivity makes it easy to control from your phone, whether you’re at home or away. Setup was straightforward and the app is simple to use. It’s reliable, accurate with temperature readings, and responds quickly to changes. Having easy access to adjust heating remotely is very convenient. Overall, a great smart upgrade for the home.

Nice and easy to install. I got an electrician friend to do it mainly because the location for the controller was a bit tight for space and he'd make a better job of it. Took him about 40 minutes. Overall the thermostat looks great and has a nice responsive screen. It has to be connected to the mains electricity which is the only downside really. A rechargeable one would have been better but it's not a major complaint. It seemed to take about a week to 'learn' the heating characteristics of the house. That first week was a little odd with the thermostat not demanding heat when I thought it should have but after 7 or 8 days it has been fine. Works great with Alexa and the app, although that is pretty basic really. Geo-fencing not all that reliable but I put that down to the Google accuracy on my phone more than the app itself, since other geo enabled apps are unreliable too. All in all, very pleased with the purchase.

I’ve been using two of these thermostats for over a year, in a dual zone setup (downstairs and upstairs) and they have been working great. The thermostats have a lot packed in, including the ability to schedule your heating and setup geo-fencing to automatically turn on and off your heating when you leave home. You can only use one or the other, which is a shame as it would be good to have a schedule in place but also the ability to turn off the heating if when you leave and then jump back to the schedule once home. All these controls are setup through the Honeywell Home app, although I prefer to use Apple Home once scheduling has been setup. These thermostats are OpenTherm compatible too, so they’ll modulate your boiler to help save on gas usage. They also have an ‘optimise’ feature, so they’ll measure how long it takes for your home to heat up, so they can start pre-heating to your desired temperature. This basically means if you set your heating to be 20c at 8am, it may turn on at 7am to start warming the house so it’s at the desired temperature by 8. It’s great for those chilly mornings! So the reason I’ve given this 4 stars for now, is I added an extra zone valve to my current setup after adding gas heating to our garage. I purchased an additional thermostat and setup everything. A week after however, it stopped responding in Apple HomeKit and would no longer connect to WiFi. I haven’t had any of these issues with the other two thermostats so I’m hoping this will be solved with a replacement.

Great product, installed on my Combi boiler in under 30 minutes. I had an old Nest unit which I ungraded. as software has ended. I originally went for the Hive unit but I tried various computers and it would not register so returned. The Honeywell works fine and is connected to Alexa as well. I see the price is now back to nearly £200.

After alot of research and confusion I went with this thermostat and receiver and I am very happy with it. No stupid hubs required like with nest, hive etc The receiver is connected to the boiler with cable. The thermostat has a wireless connection to the boiler and also connects to the WiFi. Install and set up were easy and the operation is flawless, app, alexa, Google home all work seamlessly. Temperature is always as I have set it. I do wish it was battery powered or rechargeable to be truly wireless but still overall really good.

The thermostat does what it is supposed to, it is very sensitive to the temperature and works well. It is easy to wire in and the documentation for wiring is clear. In spite of the video on Amazon showing how easy it is to set up and pair the thermostat with your phone so you can adjust everything through the app.... it is NOT easy to set it up and pair it with your phone at all. This is because of the requirement for the thermostat to be linked to wifi at 2,4ghz and modern smart phones defaulting to 5ghz so the two do not communicate. I rang customer services three times and each one gave me different advice and instructions. In the end I set up a hot spot on my phone which allowed me to pair the phone with the thermostat on 2.4g, however it took an age for them to connect and sync. Customer services said it could take up to three days to sync so as you can imagine it is just not feasible to wait three days with your phone on 5g waiting for it to sync. Fortunately mine synced after about 24 hours. I now have everything connected and it paired with Alexa easily. Whilst everything is now fine, I do not feel that information about the possible pitfalls of pairing the thermostat was available or included. Customer services are clearly outsourced and difficult to understand in some cases. Of the three agents I spoke to, all saying different things, one was rude and unhelpful. Based on my experiences, though the product works as it should I do not think I could recommend it based on my dealings with customer services, it is something the company need to address.

This is a lovley looking device let alone everything else - it took me a whiLE to choose the right make - I wanted one not just compatible with Alexa or works with Alexa. I wanted one that worked directly with my Echo set up which starts with the Echo Plus. This device works with it and of course req some set up with no extar outlay for a hub device. The phone app needs installing and the Amazon skill to make everything work together which is now does and its marvelous. Being able to set a routine on yoru phone and any temp - ytrun on or off if you are out is great. Being able to say simply Alexa set temp 20 degrees and it does it is amazing to me as my smart home gradually grows. The room thermostat req a socket to power unlike my previous device what ran on a couple of batteries - which means find a spot to place this in your home rather than in the hall out of site most of the time. Main reason for buying this then its its design and touchscreen and the fact that in bed you can simply ask Alexa to put th eheating on when you wake up before getting out of bed. The set up was a bit fiddly as usual with this kind of thing - its says do this and it doesn't work - you do something else and it does. Its able to set up all manner of routines - I just think its the smartest looking out of a bunch of boring looking ones myself. Def works with the Echo Plus and phone (req) or just th ephone if Alexa isnt part of your needs. Alexa was the reason I got this and the more devices that work directly it the easier this will all get...

This is a great product. Turned my old boiler into a smart thermostat driven system I can control remotely. The only poor area is the lack of MI that comes with the App. There really isn’t any. Other controllers are better at that element but the controller itself is fantastic. There are some technical considerations when it comes to whether you want to install it using the simple method (acting as a switch to simply turn the power to the boiler off and on to control it versus wiring it to stop the burner but allowing the pump to continue to circulate). We started off with the more complex wiring method and then opted to change to the simple wiring as the pump ran 24 hours a day). I think if you have an existing thermostat installed it’s probably pretty easy to install this yourself but if you don’t have an existing thermostat or you are not confident with wiring - get an electrician to install it. Once installed it’s a terrific controller. Be careful to choose the right model if you want to control hot water also.

Ich bin mit dem Thermostat sehr zufrieden. Der Funkempfang vom Dachboden bis ins Erdgeschoss war absolut problemlos und durchgehend stabil. Auch die WLAN-Verbindung lief von Anfang an zuverlässig ohne Abbrüche. Über die Resideo App lässt sich die Temperatur jederzeit und von überall aus einstellen, was im Alltag sehr praktisch ist. Die App ist übersichtlich und die Bedienung funktioniert reibungslos. Die Installation über OpenTherm war unkompliziert und innerhalb von etwa 15 Minuten erledigt. Insgesamt wirkt das System modern, gut durchdacht und zuverlässig im täglichen Betrieb.

Lo tengo instalado desde hace 6 días aprox y por el momento funciona a la perfección. Interface muy intuitiva, fácil de usar desde el mismo termostato, pero más fácil aun desde la aplicación. En mi caso tengo el inalámbrico que para mis necesidades va genial, lo puedo poner donde quiera y prefiero que vaya enchufado y no tener que estar pendiente de las pilas, pues los inalámbricos con wifi y pantalla táctil las consumen rápidamente. LA INSTALACIÓN; es sencilla, bien explicado en las instrucciones, yo en mi caso como tengo la caldera en el exterior, para evitar que se moje el receptor (que es el que se ha de conectar con 2 cables a la caldera y otros 2 a una toma de corriente) lo he instalado dentro de un armario dentro de casa, aprovechando que en el armario tengo el cuadro general de luz donde he cogido la alimentación para el receptor, para la conexión con la caldera he pasado 2 cables desde ahí hasta la caldera y todo funciono a la 1ª. LA COMUNICACIÓN TERMOSTATO-RECEPTOR; con una distancia de unos 4 metros y receptor dentro de un armario es muy buena, sin desconexiones. LA CONFIGURACIÓN DEL TERMOSTATO; (usando Android) fue fácil hasta que llegue al punto donde se tiene que poner la contraseña del wifi, me daba fallo de conexión, lo pude solucionar gracias a que leyendo los comentarios de usuarios vi que alguien dejo un comentario de que se tiene que desconectar los datos móviles del teléfono para que el termostato detecte la red wifi a la que está conectado el teléfono, esto deberían ponerlo en las instrucciones. EL WIFI; por el momento no se ha desconectado nuca en este tiempo. LA TEMPERATURA; que marca el termostato es correcta comparándola con la que me marca un termómetro que tengo en el mismo sitio, marcan lo mismo. MI VALORACIÓN; por ahora es muy buena, era de esperar ya que esta marca es de las mejores en termostatos.
