Vibram FiveFingers KSO Evo, Men's Multisport Indoor Shoes

I love these ! It took a few days to get used to them, not least of which was learning how to put them on, and I still cannot get my feet into them without socks, but with socks my toes now slide in without any difficulty. And Man, Are they comfortable ? I spend my working day wearing heavy workboots, so at the end of the day, and at weekends my feet really do deserve a bit of comfort, and these do the trick indoors and at the gym. I find the soles are a bit thin for outside wear, although I do wear them for short walks to the shops, I couldn't run outdoors in them, so I've ordered a pair of Kmd Evo's for that. One thing you do have to get used to is people cannot resist commenting on the damn things - everyone has an opinion, and they're definitely a bit 'marmite' - I don't care, I love mine

I bought these to try and improve the function and strength of my feet. I have been pleased so far and my expectations have been exceeded. I owned a pair of vibram bikila 10 years ago so I knew roughly what to expect from the product. I am a size 9/43 and these slip on much easier and without needing to tighten the laces on the upper. So far they have not begun to smell like the other pair as this was always a problem. I have worn them every day for a few hours inside, also outside up the hill, along the high street and in the mud if it's unavoidable. They appear to be as tough and hard wearing as my previous pair. A good investment and they also improve my back pain.

hi ! Nice shoes. Very pleasant to wear.Good feeling. Just a little bit to small...on my left foot ! So, it's very dificult to wear socks with them. May be I would have of to buy the shoes with a highter size. I live in France, Amazon uk is faster than amazon France !! Thanks. But I am not sure that it is interesting to buy on this site rather than in France because the bank charges...

First pair of Vibram's and so far so brilliant! I love em. Got a pair of Trek Ascent's a week later as these Evo's don't hold up against wet British Weather (however, as much as I got soaked, I didn't actually notice they were wet until I took them off). I use these for running in dry weather and down the gym. As per the headline though, as these were my first pair, I went via Amazon wardrobe and ordered 6 pairs over 4 different sizes to make sure I got the right fit. Great service by Amazon, great product by Vibram. Thanks to the middleman for being... the middleman. Note, I did a lot of reading into these before taking the plunge. Please do so as well. You WILL need to change your walking style if you are not already practise in barefoot walking/ running. Being new to barefoot, my first 2 weeks so far have been full of aches which have mostly been DOM's as my muscles are being re-awoken after years of atrophy! Otherwise, they are really comfortable and IMO look really cool (I get some strange looks, but they are a great icebreaker/ conversation starter :) (I've been referred to as the Man from Atlantis hee hee).

Make sure you measure your feet well. I wear half a size smaller in these than conventional shoes. If you’re looking at reviews of these then you know what they’re about (I hope). These are great, the thin sole helps with proprioceptive inputs to the feet/ neural system, with associated change in foot strike and muscle activity up the kinetic chain. Black/ Black are the best style. Only buy the other ones if they’re on sale (red soles were £32 at one stage). People will stare, pull a face, and be an expert on which trainers or shoes you should wear instead. My long standing back pain is a 0/10 after a day wearing these, instead of a 6-7/10. These are great, they took a while to get used to at first with putting them on and just my feet getting used to walking with such little shoe on my foot but they're great. I have problems with my ankles and using these every so often is forcing me to use proper technique while I run, natural technique. I don't use them every day but a few times a week because they do take a while to get used to and I did rush into it a bit and got some foot aching due to my feet not being used to them. Well worth a buy and I'm sure happy with them!

I measured my feet for the exact sizes and dimensions provided but I still found that the shoes delivered were a size too big, the sizes stated are too large. Now I am stuck with shoes that are way too big when I was in desperate need of some new lightweight reliable running shoes.

After considering a pair of VFFs for a few years, I finally took the plunge and bought a pair, partly based on the lower price. I'm so glad that I did as I love the fit and feel of wearing them. I've worn them almost exclusively for a week, including a few short trail runs, and I'm already looking into buying another pair to rotate them with. I threw them in the wash after a muddy run and they were clean and dry in a couple of hours. I should have bought them years ago!

This will be a 'triple' review, just to save myself some time. I have three pairs of Vibrams ... the KSO EVO, the V Train and the V Trail. I'll just cut and paste this review to all three. Some general background to give perspective on where I'm coming from when I review these ... I'm pretty new to Vibrams, so I've never worn any of their older models/styles. I'm also new to this kind of minimalist footwear, but I have been wearing wide, flat shoes for quite some time now ... usually Reebok Crossfits. Finally, I had been using 'toe spreaders' for a few weeks before I got my first pair of Vibrams. If you are switching from a super padded, super supportive shoe straight to ANY minimalist shoe, particularly Vibrams, your life is going to suck for a while, IMHO. KSO EVO!! Awesome! Bought these for the gym ... great shoe for lifting and movement based workouts! Wanted the laces to be better able to modify the fit ... other than that, they're like a slipper with toes! Form fitting, grippy, comfy! I did have to order a size up ... many other reviews reflect this as well. The toes are a bit shorter compared to the V Train/V Trail. These are super basic and seem to keep to the original barefoot idea that started the company ... or so it has been explained to me. V Train!! The most like an actual shoe. Has much more structure than the other two. Heavier and more rigid with the least ground feel of the three. What you'll think of these depends on your starting point ... if you go from regular sneakers to these, they're super light and minimal! If you go from the KSO EVO or something similar to these, they feel overbuilt and heavy. I got them for an 'everyday' shoe ... I wear them to work in a warehouse as well. These have a break in period ... especially the top of the foot where the straps cross. Pretty uncomfortable at first! Now I don't even notice I'm wearing them. Really like this shoe for general use, but I would stick with the KSO EVO for the gym, unless you really need something heavier or need the rope grip feature on the instep. V Trail!! I read a bunch of reviews that said these were uncomfortable, overbuilt and gave no ground feel. I feel EVERY rock, root and piece of debris. Definitely more ground feel than the V Train. Light and flexible, very slipper like. Not so sure about the 3D Cocoon technology. Doesn't feel much different to me except right on the ball of the foot. I use these for working out in the park and hiking. Not sure I would ever actually run with theses, at lease not with any speed. Nicely padded tongue, a little more cushion overall, and very comfortable right out of the box.

Ich bin in jederlei Hinsicht zufrieden. Der Schuh passt, fühlt sich gut an und lässt sich problemlos bei 30° waschen, er ist dafür robust genug. Das Waschen würde ich alle paar Tage empfehlen, was jedoch vollkommen unproblematisch ist, die Schuhe trocknen über Nacht an der Leine. Wenn man damit zurecht kommt, nun auch wegen seiner Schuhe interessiert angeschaut zu werden, der kann sie sich auch in rot kaufen, die Kombination schwarz-rot ist genauso auffällig wie sie hübsch ist. Die Größe würde ich unabhängig von meiner sonstigen Schuhgröße, mithilfe der Vibram Five Fingers Größentabelle und einem Maßband ermitteln.

Parece caminar descalzo y eso permite al pié na total libertad de movimiento y...por supuesto un trabajo optimo para la musculatura intrinseca y extrínseca del mismo. Totalmente recomendable y...ojo.. ir poco a poco.

I gave it a 3 star coz 1 week after using them, the adhesive sticking the sole near the big toe came off, that’s annoying given the price of the shoe, coz I’ll have to spend some more on repairing it. Overall, I Love them, it takes your foot a week or 2 to get comfortable in them, you’ll need comfortable five finger socks as well coz the sole is thin.
