I bought this as a gift for a friend who has a small patch of grass, not enough for a lawn mower. She was delighted with it. She said it made light work of it as it was very easy to use, light weight, extremely sharp and sturdy. She found it comfortable on her Arthritic hands, even easy to turn the blade a full 360 degrees though difficult to unlock the mechanism.

These are good garden shears. Ideal for trimming those areas where a strimmer is a bit too brutal, or if you need to protect certain plants but trim around them - e.g. I have honeysuckle plants with grass growing around the base - I want to trim the grass, but a strimmer may catch the honeysuckle stem. Easy to use - and I love that they can be turned through 90º Good value for money.

Great price for this hand tool. Bought it so I don't have to use the strimmer which makes a mess. Cuts the grass along the hedge and walls really well. Force needed for the cutting action is not excessive. Its a breeze. The blades might stick and not return to its open position if they get soiled. Have to clean the blades every now and then. Might try oiling it. Love the rotating feature of the blade

I am using this shears for many months now and I can say that initially the product worked wonderfully. I was very glad. However, with time, it started to rust, even though I store it protected from rain, etc. Cutting grass became more difficult since the shears kind of "get stuck" and I almost need to shake them violently to "un-stuck" them and use to cut the grass. If not for this problem, I'd give it 5 stars, as it is ergonomic and sturdy. But with time, beware it may become increasingly more difficult to use.

Really good, quite a strong grip and sharp

Worked great for a few minutes then blades were sticking shut and handles had to be pulled apart to open them. Contacted seller to see if a little lubricant would void the warranty, they said no and the sticking was probably caused by sap. A smear of WD40 on the blades (sprayed on tissue and wiped along blades) and they worked perfectly. Otherwise would have been 5 stars. Seem good quality and are very sharp.
