Cheap but effective
Cheap but effective tool used for changing the tie rods on a mk2 Renault Clio. The nuts are 9/16" I believe but I managed to tighten them down enough using a 14mm spanner.

Good for one set on rod changes
As other reviewers have said, the threads can be stripped if over tightening, but you have to make it get a good grip on the rod boss otherwise it wont turn. Mine did the job for a double rod change but how the next change might go, could be problematic. If you're doing rods once in a while, the tool is fine. If you're doing them every month on cars, get the beastie set.

Why pay more?
Perfectly solid tool for the driveway mechanic. Needed to remove the tie rods on my V70 earlier this year and this did the job very well indeed. Made my life much easier for £10. Would recommend.

Not easy to attach
It does work but you need to know what you're doing. Attachment takes time and spannerwork but got there eventually. Next time I'd buy a proper removal tool to make life easier.
