Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul (Book 9)

I read it on kindle and it was really good and funny. If someone likes Lottie brooks then they might enjoy the wimpy kid books .I have read nearly all of them now. (This was reviewed by a child 🙂)

Great book

5* from my 8 year old! She is a massive Diary of a Wimpy Kid fan and says that this one didn't disappoint. She finished it almost in one sitting and then proceeded to tell me the entire story because she had loved it so much. I didn't read it with her put had a quick flick through and the quirky drawings are up to the same high standard as the previous books in the series. Jeff Kinney has really created a brilliant franchise here with books that appeal to both boys and girls and have wonderful funny drawings to break up the text

Was slightly disappointed with Amazon as we pre-ordered on 19th August and were promised it would arrive on the release date, but was 4 days late, unlike previous years we have pre-ordered the wimpy kid series. It was still well worth the wait! I love the series, and this book was definitely the best for the humour, I was laughing out loud constantly but the actual storyline was not quite as good as the usual standard because the Heffleys are on a road trip for the whole of the book. Still, you must buy if you enjoyed the previous books as it's amazing and worth the 5 stars without a doubt! Reviewed by a 10 year old girl.
