I didn't know this make and was unsure how it would compare to the well known makes I have used before, but the reviews were good so I thought I'd give these loppers a try. My first thought was how light they are compared to my old loppers. On the one hand this is good as I'm not as strong as I was when I was younger, but on the other hand, would they bend easily? My next thought was that the head was a fair bit smaller than my old loppers. How would this affect their cutting ability? I am pleased to say I am delighted with the purchase. I used my new loppers yesterday and they sliced through quite thick branches (slightly over 1.5") with ease. The blade must be really sharp! I had to apply hardly any pressure to do the work, so I am less worried now about the handles becoming bent if too much is applied. The mechanism for extending the handles feels secure, and the loppers are still comfortable to use in the extended position. Previously my arms would become tired after a few branches, so that is a bonus when I'm cutting old wood out of the centre of a shrub or small tree, and the smaller head means I can get into tighter places. So on the basis of what I've seen so far I give them 5*. Time will tell how long they remain so efficient and how easy they are to sharpen, but at the moment I am delighted.

Great for the price, work as described. Been using regularly for gardening jobs (for clients) & have cut back various shrubs and small to medium branches on trees; seem to handle well so far with a good 'bite', making the work fairly painless. Lighter than my previous pair which is part of the reason I ordered them, so good for higher branches where lots of cutting involved. Pleased to say that they lock properly too, which has been an issue with other loppers where handles would suddenly unlock & slide up. (There is a very slight wobble in the telescopic handles when unlocked, but this doesn't affect performance once locked.) Overall 5 stars as do the job with no bother & are good value.

Worked really well. Very easy to use and cut through what I call twogs with apparent ease... until the blade snapped. Not finding it easy to source a replacement! Update: Contacted the seller and a replacement arrived within 24 hours of my confirming my name and address. REALLY impressed by this service. (Have to admit I was not expecting such a positive and immediate response - so THANK YOU.)

Brought these to use on the overhanging tree from our neighbour’s garden. We all worked together on both sides using them - they were really excellent. Cut like a knife through butter (the branches weren’t thick, just long). My partner then used them to cut through a very thick vine stump - worked superbly. They are telescopic and go up to a metre long. Considering they were very reasonably priced, represent extremely good value for money. Very pleased.

These are amazing, easily the best thing I've brought for garden work, and I have way more tools than I want to admit to. I needed some serious loppers to deal with some ivy growing on the second floor of our house. The roots are unfortunately in my neighbour's garden and she won't let me get rid of the plant, but I needed a way to reach as much of the branches/vines as I could to separate it from my house and kill it off. These cut through the branches with ease, some of them are easily 3cm thick and maybe even more, but it wasn't hard at all to snip through and make quick work of the ivy. I only have a tallish step ladder and standing on the top with these telescoped out to their full length, they're over a meter and I could reach far higher than I expected. They're pretty lightweight but after an hour of using them your arms will be sore, so it's good for working your biceps I guess!

Well, this is my second review and an update on these I bought them in jan 2018, and they are used mainly to take out brambles , and nearly 2 years later they are still sharp, still cutting out the brambles I have 4 acres so not just a little bush, oh do we have brambles, but I also use them all the time for small branches and other trees etc, brillant light weight, a couple hours of use my wrists ache but 2 whole hours of no ache, fantastic product and they last and do not rust, brillant value for money, hoping to get another year plus out of them, please note I use them for heavy use, will not be buying any other product thank you Davaon 5 stars all the way

This is fantastic, gets through trees like nobody’s business. If you have been postponing getting one of these, don’t. As a man with secateurs, tree knife, hedge trimmer and chainsaw this was the missing piece in my gardening arsenal and by god I wish I had bought it sooner as it saves so much time. Pricey but worth every penny, plus you’ll never have to bend down with secateurs to cut those pesky twigs, cuttings and branches to shorten them for your garden waste ever again!!!!

A la fois léger et robuste, j'ai pu ébrancher ma haie vivante (saules/osier cf photos) et couper sans souci des branches jusqu'à 3cm de diamètre. Le côté télescopique est très pratique pour gagner en couple de force mais aussi pour accéder à des parties éloignées. Aucune trace d'usure ou de fatique des matériaux ou du mécanisme après plusieurs journées où ce sont plus mes bras qui fatiquent que cette cisaille. Je recommande les yeyx fermés, elle est super et le rapport qualité prix est excellent !

The tool is very light and goes through wood very easily. I will use these a great deal as I live in a heavily wooded area. The last lopper I bought from another vendor broke on the second use. This tool seems to be constructed much better than that but only time will tell, I can imagine if you need this for light duty then it will last a long time.
