We brought this as we have several rescue cats with health issues and we like to keep an eye on them so we know if there is a problem. We do have other cameras from this manufacturer but decided that we didn’t have coverage in one area.This is a newer version of other genbolt cameras that I’ve had in the past and if anything it’s even easier to set this version up on the genbolt camera app.Use the supplied cable in the box to connect it to your router, turn the camera on and fire up the app. Click on the search network link on the app ( after you have clicked on the plus signs to add a camera). Let the app scan your network and select the camera from the list that, for me, took about 10-15 seconds to appear.Then click the cog setting under the temporary image that appears in the app, choose Wi-Fi settings and enter the password for your Wi-Fi.Of course it’s always a good idea to change the default password for any camera that connects to your network and you are prompted to do this.The images are good, even at night, and it’s useful to be able to move the camera up and down and left to right to get the image just right. You can save images to a card if you want ( not included ) and set it up to save a photo when the camera detects movement.Overall, if you have a decent Wi-Fi or can run a cat5 cable and want an internal security camera or baby monitor I’d recommend taking a look at this one.

Shipped fast and was a great addition to my security setup. Quality is good and always works to connect via my cell phone even remotely outside of my home WiFi.Great product for an excellent price.

Sto provando un po' di telecamere che riescano a mandare screenshot direttamente tramite email (configurando server SMTP etc.) ed effettivamente questa telecamera lo fa.Il tempismo delle foto (scattate ovviamente sul motion trigger) non è proprio perfetto, ma è passabile.Tutto sommato una buona telecamera grazie anche al sensore HD.

Very easy to setup. Used Wifi Installation method and the Genbolt Cam app. First, include the UID of the camera by QR code scan, setup the wifi password and the app will transfer the wifi id and pw to camera using some high pitched sounds which is quite futuristic. As I have other more expensive Genbolt cameras on the same app, I was quite surprised that the new camera has the same settings such as setting up the preset positions, recording schedule, etc. I added a microSD card and used it to setup up daily recording which can be assessed via the app. One nice trick it has is that you can turn on Motion tracking and once an object is in the frame, the camera will rotate and follow that object as it moves. Neat. Picture quality was also good. All in, a good buy!!

These cameras seem to have issues when being used with a DVR. If using the genbolt app, this camera seems fine. The company sent me a upgraded camera (gb103k) which does not have this same issue. I would not recommend using this camera if a static IP address is needed for DVR use.
