I like doing kumihimo but can't get my fingers to hold the middle part to keep my bracelets straight. When I saw an UTube video showing someone using this product I had to get one. It works very well. It adds just the perfect amount of weight to keep your project tidy and it's easy to attach. Very happy I bought this. It makes my life just a tad bit simpler and no more frustration because my arthritic fingers aren't able to hold my work! Now if I can just find something that will create more time so I can play with my kumihimo more I would be in heaven.

This is just perfect for keeping the tension even when doing kumihimo braid. Books and how-to video describe how to make homemade weights, which is fine. But instead of spending time on that, I just went ahead and bought this and I'm glad I did. It's heavy -- and heavy-duty. A good product worth the money.

This weight makes all the difference in the world. Makes braiding so much easier. Don't have to keep pulling and holding on to the braid. Makes your braid a more even weave because of the even tension..

This works great! I tried using a homemade clip and it never seemed to work. I couldn't believe this could make a difference but it did! If you aren't sure that you need this to do kumihimo - well, you don't but your work will be much better and more professional if you do. It's really a small price and the results are huge.

Perfect, not too heavy or too light, just what I wanted & very easy to use & store

Item was not what was shown in the product page as the newer model with a hook on the bottom was what I received as opposed to the flat bottom as pictured in the add. However, I found out that the hook can be unscrewed so it does not catch in your threads/cords; so I kept the product. Overall the weight is great and Beadaholique were very prompt in there responses and did offer a refund. This has a nice weight for heavier or multiple threads and cords and works well with wire as well. I prefer to work with the weights and the hook on the bottom (the one that unscrews) does come in handy as you can always add more weight or hang it from your work instead of using the alligator clamp. I highly recommend this Kumi weight, even though some people say their cords can catch on the alligator clamp I did not find this, I found the hook more of a problem for catching loose hanging threads for when I choose not to use bobbins and this was why I wanted the flat bottom model in the first place. However the shepherd- like hook on the bottom of the newer model --now gives me the best of both worlds provided I do not loose the hook.

très satisfaite du fait d'avoir une pince crocodile sur le poids ce qui permet de mieux travailler,j'avais déjà un poids sans pince et je trouve qu'il est plus facile d'attacher grâce à la pince sur n'importe quel travail en cours.
