Superb
The Nespresso Citiz Automatic Pod Coffee Machine with Milk Frother by Magimix in black has become an indispensable part of my daily routine. Its sleek design is both modern and compact, fitting seamlessly into my kitchen without taking up too much counter space. The black finish adds a touch of sophistication, making it not just an appliance but a stylish addition to my home decor. One of the standout features of this machine is its ease of use. From the very first use, it was clear that the Citiz was designed with user convenience in mind. The pod insertion and ejection system is straightforward, and the machine heats up remarkably quickly, allowing me to enjoy my coffee without a lengthy wait. The one-touch buttons for espresso and lungo options are intuitive, making it simple to brew the perfect cup every time. The included milk frother takes this machine to the next level, enabling me to create a variety of coffee drinks, from creamy lattes to frothy cappuccinos. The frother works quietly and efficiently, producing smooth, velvety milk foam that enhances the overall coffee experience. Cleaning the frother is also hassle-free, which is a big plus for those busy mornings when time is of the essence. Performance-wise, the Nespresso Citiz excels in delivering consistently high-quality coffee. The 19-bar pressure pump extracts the rich flavors and aromas from the coffee pods, resulting in a truly satisfying cup. I also appreciate the wide selection of Nespresso pods available, allowing me to explore different flavors and intensities to suit my mood. The machine handles all these varieties with ease, maintaining the same excellent performance regardless of the pod I choose. Additionally, the machine's energy-saving mode is a thoughtful feature, automatically turning off after a period of inactivity, which is both environmentally friendly and practical. The large water tank means fewer refills are needed, making it convenient for multiple servings throughout the day. Overall, the Nespresso Citiz Automatic Pod Coffee Machine with Milk Frother by Magimix in black is a fantastic investment for any coffee lover. Its combination of stylish design, ease of use, and exceptional coffee quality makes it a standout choice. Whether you're looking to enjoy a quick espresso shot or a luxurious latte, this machine delivers with excellence every time.

Compact, stylish and reliable
Makes a great cup of coffee! Fairly compact at 12cm wide (24cm wide with milk frother), 38cm long (which includes bending the wire at the back - see photos) and 28cm high. The water reservoir at the back has been re-designed from older models I have had to include a hook near the top to keep it in place - this removes any leaking. The reservoir is enough for 5 or 6 cups of Grande. The milk frother is part of this model and whips up the milk in a minute or so producing a restaurant level latte. The pods are pricey, but recyclable and there are many cheaper pod options on the market that are compatible with this machine. Overall, excellent coffee machine that looks good too!

Lovely coffee but aeroccino doesn't heat the milk enough for me
Edit: found a sort of workaround for the temperature: fill a cup with a lungo measure of water from the machine to preheat the cup & disgard, go for a lungo or 2 espresso measures of coffee, there's then more coffee than milk/froth so not strictly a cappuccino (1/3 each of espresso, steamed milk & frothed milk) but works really well and I am suddenly drinking too much coffee!! Quick. Quiet. Sleek looking. I needed to replace my old machine so chose this as I thought the milk frother wpuld be a handy addition. Tested the aeroccino with a cappuccino this morning - thought it wasn't working at first as it's so quiet. Lovely froth but for me, it isn't hot enough. I want to savour a cappuccino not gulp it straight down. My old method of heating milk in a little Turkish coffee pot then using an aerolatte wand is better for me as I control the milk temperature (not boiling, remove from heat just as little bubbles form at the edges - personal taste but lovely and hot). Keeping it as it's quick & I will use it but will experiment a bit to see what I can do to help it along. The coffee machine though is lovely - quicker & quieter than my Inissia which is just over 9 years old - keeping it in case I manage to get a camper van as it's quite small, still works just a bot loud & temperamental now woth age!

Fancy a good cup if coffee?
This is our second Nespresso machine and a second purchase of exactly the same machine tells a positive story. Our previous machine, ten years old, had seen a lot of use but had suffered from our inattention in a very hard water area. It arrived very quickly and has been making coffee since then. It is a great looking machine which will grace any worktop with its small footprint and modern appearance. It make excellent coffee, what ever type one wants with a wide range of pods available for use. Good purchase.

Best decision i have made- 10/10
So I deliberated over so many different coffee machines before purchasing this one. I have always had a normal coffee machine, but never a capsule one. I researched everything about the different styles of machines and what was good value for money. I watched many videos on which machine performed better and what people were saying about them. I contemplated the latissma model that came with a milk compartment but the reviews on it werent the best so it put me off even though it was cheaper. My friend already has a similar model to this one where she has an aerocinno for the milk and she said she swears by it every morning. To be honest i couldnt agree with her more, the aeroccino is so easy to use as well. I know this is a little on the expensive side (if you're not wanting to spend more than £100) but its worth every penny in my eyes. I am a big coffee lover, if i wanted to save a few pennies i probably would have gone for a Dolche and my friends say they are just as good. However i enjoy the taste of coffee, and i have had a nespresso coffee before when staying at some hotels that have them in their rooms. So i knew i wouldnt be dissapointed. Even though i like my flavoured coffees which i would have had the variety in other models, i am happy i went with this one as i cant stop using it. I hope this helps someone make a decision over whether to go with nespresso or not, however i honestly cant fault it. Even comes with a starter/welcome pack. Overall if you love your coffee shop style coffee then nespresso machines are probably going to be your best bet. Also ive used compatible pods which work fine and taste great, other brands dont offer you the choice of buying cheaper compatible alternatives. However if you arent fussed and want more variety on styles of coffee with a quicker result the other brands would probably be more up your street.
