Is this for evergreen or deciduous trees?

New Kiyonal is working both with evergreen ( Pine, Chinese Juniper etc..) and deciduous trees ( Plum, Cherry blossom etc..)

Is this suitable for fig and Chinese elm please?

I haven't grown fig or elm but have used it on cotoneaster and junipers with good results. When buying I had watched other enthusiasts using it and so I do think its a good all-round product which should give the desired results. Hope this helps a little.

Can I glue a snapped branch (still attached to the plant) together?

Not so much 'glue' a snapped branch but seal the wound to allow the plant to recover. You would need to go gentle when wireing the branch in future. Superglue on a dead branch often works
