Really excellent. We used it to paint cloth strips for use as markers outdoors overnight. 5 days later the glow was still working despite at least 30 hours of near gale conditions.well done Sakurai!

It wasn't easy to use but more importantly it does not glow in the dark as stated, it was sold as photoilluminescent and glow in the dark but it did not which was very disappointing and a waste of money and effort as I used it as an art project. Does not live up to item description 🤷

I found that it takes a noticeable amount of time to "charge up" with light before it can be easily seen in the dark. Perhaps if drawn on walls or something where it would get an entire day of light to "charge", then it would work really well.

The glow in the dark element is brilliant works really well & glows really strongly however you cannot write anything even remotely detailed, it doesn't flow smoothly so you get lumps of glow pigment then the oil of the crayon then another lump, it's really good to colour a blob or undefined area but there's no hope of creating something neat or write anything legible unless written so large that you would be colouring in areas in a totally imperfect way.

Not very impressed - not very easy to use and it glows only faintly - not enough to aid visibility. Very stodgy and sticky.

Glows the tiniest bit but not alot. More like a wax crayon than a marker!

I have this great little thermal coffee container that keeps coffee hot for hours. It is also spill-proof when I click the button at the top. All is great with it, but the coffee comes out on either one side or the other, so when you drink it you need to be sure your mouth is positioned where the slit is located. To solve this problem, as many people who use this have, you simply make a mark where the opposing slits are located and no more problems, right? Well, what about when you're drinking your coffee in a dark room in the morning, before you face the world of light while still waking up? For a while, I was keeping a small flashlight by my bedside to use when I thought I lost track of where the slit is located. If you miss by too much, you will have coffee running down the side. The flashlight idea, while it worked, was annoying. After all, if you want to wake up gradually in the dark you don't want to occasionally use a flashlight. That's when I thought glow-in-the-dark. I was on a mission to get something like a small marker that I could use just like the dark marker I used for when it was light out. I couldn't find anything like this in local stores, so I thought about Amazon to see what they might have. You never know what you're going to get based on the description and photo. So for the $12 or so, I figured I would take a chance on this Sakura marker. I was totally ignorant about glow-in-the-dark markers and didn't know what to expect. Well, I have to say this thing is great. It goes on like a soft crayon. Just two swipes on my coffee mug and that was it. That was months ago, and it just has not worn off, even after many washings. And, it always glows in the dark, just like it's supposed to. I'm not sure what the technology of this is, but I always thought you needed to charge it with light for it to work. I guess not since the mug sits all night in the dark and the glow is always strong. So I've used about 1/1,000,000th of what's there, wondering how I will use the rest of it. Eventually I'll consider another use for it, but for this use, I'll tell you that it was worth every penny. I'm a fan!
