Thinner than expected

I have seedlings that the deer sand rabbits destroy. I put a small tomato cage on my plant and then put the plastic over that. It is long enough to cover all the way to the ground and then I cut a hole bigger in the top ( where the hanger would have been) and fold any excess down to the inside

The seams of the bags are so weak and poorly joined that they cannot even be separated from the stack without damaging them beyond use, and it's impossible to be sure if you're pulling out an intact bag or one side of one that's already separated. I expected thin plastic, but not such shoddy assembly.
