WEN 61722K 18-Gauge 2-in-1 Pneumatic 2-Inch Brad Nailer and 1/4-Inch Crown Stapler

Once I discovered WEN products they have become my favorites. I started with a 1800 W genny years ago. It drew my eye as it was 1/2 cost of other genny's. Still starts on 1st pull. It has seen daily use for over 2 years. This product is no different. Slams brads like a champ. Really like the depth adjustment.

Great tool. I am assembling a folk art project using a pallet and pallet wood. Anybody that has ever worked with that material will attest to how tuff that stuff can be. I shot over 200 5/8 inch staples, a few 1 inch staples, a couple dozen nails, and not one bent or did not fully seat. To top it off, not one jam either. A bonus observation: My regulator set at 100 psi. My compressor kicks off at 125psi. I filled my 60 gallon air compressor up and shot those 200+ 5/8 inch staples and my compressor never did kick back on to fill up the tank. I would write: "would buy again" but the tool feels solid, I will likely never need another...

replaced a DeWalt Brad Nailer that met it's maker. Skeptical at first but does a great job.

purchased for some minor wood working projects. i have used brads and staples and this tool works flawlessly with both.

I had to downsize my compressor. My Hazard Fraught Tool stapler couldn't drive anything over 1-1/4". This tool is efficient and drives 1-1/2 staples perfectly at 90psi.

This company is quickly becoming a goto for me in affordable tools. It may not always be compatible to the top of the line, but for the occasional DIY project at home it more than delivers every time. I got my stapler in today, had it out of the package, dropped a few drops of airtool oil, hooked to my air line, slid open the magazine, loaded in a rack of staples all in minutes. Gave her a few test shots on a scrap piece of wood, adjusted my depth wheel and promptly put her to work building beehive frames. I went through several hundred metabo 1 1/4 inch staples and never had a jam or failure, every staple buried itself evenly and made my life so much easier today. Money well spent.

I like that it comes with a hard storage case. I just used it as a staple gun only using a full box of 1000 stainless steel one inch crown staples and it worked flawlessly. I installed steel mesh netting or farmers cloth as it's called, under a lean to to keep the birds from nesting. Very pleased!

I bought this to replace a yellow cordless one that failed with hardly any use, which is apparently a common issue with them. So back to “old school” pneumatic. Works well, decent price point. I have other WEN tools and they seem to be well made. Took a minute to figure out the adjustments, I actually had to read the manual haha. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with a swivel connect for the air hose like some of my other tools have, so I had to buy one and retrofit it. I like the dual brad nail/stapler function so I don’t need another tool.
