Friedland Mini Alarms ML3 Magnetic Door/ Window Alarms

These are amazing alarms and last a long time. I bought these to use on the doors of my caravan and a set of cheaper alarms for the windows. After 1 year all the cheaper alarms stopped working but these Friedland mini are still as good as when I first installed them. I’ve not even needed to change the batteries yet. Amazing quality, small and neat. Great adhesive. Loud sound. 2 options - chime or alarm. I have now replaced all the other cheaper alarms on the windows for these. Don’t waste your money on cheaper ones. These are the best

Bought these door alarms to go on my double back door, I have upvc doors and feel they should have some sort of alarm. I used the supplied double sided tape to apply and even though my door frame is not exactly level with the door they still work at an angle. I did test them in my hand at an angle first and they work well. The alarm sound is loud enough to wake me, the only way to stop the alarm sound is to turn it off or shut the door/window where contact has been broken. It has a chime setting which is very handy if you don't want it sounding continuous. They look well made and recommend.

Very easy to fit (no tools required) and will alert you to anyone breaking the magnetic contact whether it's fitted to a window or a door. It's reassuring to have them on at night if you're feeling vulnerable. While the alarm feature isn't exactly ear piercingly loud, it is loud enough to scare off an intruder and more importantly, it's loud enough to alert you and give you vital reaction time!

It's a shame because my door is not flush with the door frame. Will just have to give it to a friend..

These are loud, lightweight, and small enough to use in most places, but the choice of battery type lets them down, why not an AAA battery or something a bit more common so that you can easily change the battery instead of the stupid tiny batteries that nobody knows the name of that you can't get anywhere?

Bought these as my son has austim and often opens doors or windows the alarm is loud and would also deter burglars needs more stick though as had to use extra to keep in place overall brilliant product delivery and service thank you

Bought these to use as fridge alarms. Great if you're deaf! If you're not, you soon will be if you use these on your fridge. They are very very loud! Probably great for windows that don't get opened that often, but I have a 14yr old son with hollow legs who spends half his life looking for food. My fridge is opened more times per day than a door at Marks and Spencer! Although, that only counts days when he does actually close the door, which is why I was looking for a fridge door alarm. These are not that, like I said, unless you're deaf!Great little alarms though.

I bought these to go on our side entrance door so we can leave unlocked but still know when someone comes through the door.Very easily operated, you simply locate and stick these in place, and select the appropriate setting - Off - Chime - Alarm. On chime, a very load two-tone chime will sound once each time the sensor is separated from the unit. This is load enough to hear in every room in our 3bed house, as well as at the bottom of our garden.The "alarm" mode sounds like a burglar-type alarm noise and sounds continuously whenever the sensor is separated from the unit, until the sensor is back next to the unit.This unit is much, much louder than a doorbell - a bit too loud for use all the time, but perfect if you want to leave the house unlocked and want to know about the arrival of any unexpected (or expected) visitors who might walk through the door unannounced.Note it is loud enough to wake the whole house up if it goes off when everyone is asleep!
