What you need for these
A hand strap SHOULD be included with the Gimbal when you buy it, but they do not give you one. While the gimbal grip is pretty solid and not very slippery, when you are moving around using it, things happen, and you CAN drop the item. It's not cheap, so you want to protect it, and this hand strap will hopefully allow you to catch it and keep it from hitting the ground. I recommend this if you're going to use one of these, for sure.

Very stiff, short loop for larger hands
This looked like a good product but was too small for my hands, given the stiffness of the cord. But the other concern is that the weak point in the design is that the keyring at the end is only supported by a layer of the fake leather, not the strong cord. That's where it will fail. So this is fine for lighter items, but could become a risk over time for heavier stuff.
