Purchased this almost a year ago for one specific purpose, to survey roofs on both my home I was selling and the house I was purchasing. Haven't used it since due to ill health but took it back out of the box recently. What an excellent piece of kit, not perfect but at this price simply amazing.The good and the bad: Definitely buy the GPS version, amazing watching it hold position against the wind, gives beginners piece of mind. It's surprisingly fast, so play gently with it when learning, maneuverable, responding instantly to the excellent controller. I think this is great value for money and I'm still learning about its comprehensive features.The bad: It would be good to be able to swap batteries and just click and go, but in my novice capacity I hadn't realised that its common to have to reset everything which as I become more experienced will be a much quicker process. I will get the separate charger as I don't like the charging of each battery individually on the drone. Very simple bit of advice for beginners, use some clear tape over the led light covers, on three occasions during learning and the drone ending up in bushes one of the covers popped of and was difficult to find, sadly they seem exceptionally difficult to get hold of as a spare and aren't included in the blades kits.Would I recommend it...Most definitely, video, pictures, GPS, ease of use..and of course, price. Superb. For the record, I'm 64 and this piece of Holy Stone kit puts a great smile on my face.

Drohne mit schlechtem Material verarbeitet.Plastik zerkratzt sehr schnell. Kleberückstände an den Armen.Rotoren zu leicht und hält nicht mal leichten Wind ausFernbedienung auch schlecht verarbeitet. Möglich das bei Bodenkontakt auseinander fällt.Hatte ein günstigeres älteres Modell getestet.Das ist hier ein Flop und kann ich nicht empfhelen.

Would say if you are looking for a beginners drone, this one is worth considering. Holy stone products are considerably cheaper than DJI drones and it comes down to price and quality when making a decision of which one to buy. I would say for a beginner drone this Holy Stone product offers a nice introduction to drone flying. It's very easy to look at all the negative reviews and scare yourself to death over a fly aways. Drones can malfunction like any other complex product and certainly Quality control during manufacture has a part to play in this also.What do l like about this Drone?1) strongly built and light weight.2) The landing gear keeps the drone props well clear of the ground,giving nearly 8cm of clearance so lawn take offs are acceptable.3) comes with 2 batteries. I never allow a drone to run anywhere near a manufacturers stated fly time.4) lnstructions are clear, always calibrate the Gyro and compass before each flight.5) controller is relatively easy to get use to.6) Holy Stone app is simple to understand.7) The charge times are pretty standard for the battery size.8) price is good.If this is your first Drone,take your time,start by simply getting use to the drones controls by only flying a few feet away from you. It has beginners mode which sets the parameters of flight distance and height and these worked perfectly. Attempting to fly further the drone would stop, and return to safe distance. There are 3 speed settings and the fastest will enable the the drone good headway during light winds. I find this Drone quite relaxing to fly . Flown regularly for nearly a year now. Don't get paranoid reading reviews regarding flyaways,yes they can happen even to experienced pilots and you have to get your mind set right and say if it happens it happens. I would recommend this drone, it's not over complex,good features and fun to fly.

I’d wanted a drone for several years, but was put off due to experience with a cheap one.I did a lot of research before purchasing this, having decided that I wanted a model that had GPS tracking, follow me and return to home functions. I am so glad that I did. This drone offers good quality blended with easy to use functions. I initially used the buttons on the remote for takeoff and landing. However I discovered that the buttons on the mobile screen were much easier to use and I found that they just suited me more. I found the instruction manual a little hard to understand with regards calibration of compass. The instructions said to hold the drone vertically and turn, I just couldn’t make sense of how this needed to be done. It was only when I happened to stumble across a video demonstrating how it needed to be done after I’d connected the drone to my phone. This I feel would be better presented if it came up as part of the instruction manual on line. I’d actually point customers to an online video walking through the steps needed in order to set up drone for first time.All in all though, a great first drone for anyone curious and well worth the money.

Purchased this after buying a HS110G as wanted an adjustable gimbal, image stablisation and a drone which folded for easier transportation.Drone has easy to follow instructions (plus plenty of good videos on youtube too). Flies like a dream as very steady, GPS function is excellent as is the return to home (RTH) function although make sure it's set high enough to clear obstacles but not so high that you start to panic that you might not see your drone again.Image quality on photos and video are really good. The image stablisation on the 3 axis gimble really helps for much steadier video.Quick and easy to set up. The GPS calibration takes a few seconds once you've done it a couple of times.I'd suggest keeping it in beginner mode for at least your first flight. Battery life is good but buy at least a couple extra. You can get a free spare one via the Ophelia Fly app (I ordered mine and received it within a couple of days).Definately recommend.
