Squeaky clean teeth
So far, my experience using this powder has been really good. My teeth feel really clean after using it, and I have noticed that the stains on my teeth are gradually reducing. I've found that in a short time, my teeth and gums feel better, and I have not spit up blood since using this powder (which I would otherwise experience regularly). I also found that for me, plaque build up during the day is less when I brush with the powder than when I brush with toothpaste alone. As for the remineralizing and building of enamel it is still early days and I am sure this process will take a while. The ingredients are natural, most are organic, the powder has bentonite and is sweetened with stevia. I find the method that works best for me is to dip a toothbrush with paste into some powder on my hand and then repeat this process until the powder in my hand is done. The powder itself is very fine and feels a little gritty when brushing, but it is easily washed away with a few rinses. The container is a lot smaller than what I had anticipated, but the powder should see you through for a while. I've used this now morning and night for 4 days and I've only made a small dent. How long it lasts is really upto how you use this. I would definitely buy this again!

Decent tooth powder, though some will be put off by the texture...
I was looking for a flouride-free tooth cleaner in easily recyclable packaging. Having used (and enjoyed!) Lush toothy tabs and tooth powder in the past, I thought I'd try something a little different go with this product.Laila London's tooth powder is definitely VERY different from the powders I've used previously, and it is worth noting that this product does not have any foaming agents in it, so if you're used to any of the Lush dental products, you will find that this feels very different.I also found that the flavour wasn't as strong as I was expecting, although I am still getting used to it, and maybe I will notice it more as time goes on.The sensation of using the powder is also a lot dryer (presumably due to the clay content), and also a bit gritty, so I have had to adjust how I brush to accommodate this.HOWEVER, I must admit that my teeth feel very clean after brushing with this, and the dry/gritty texture seems to make me brush more thoroughly as well. In just a few days, I have already adapted to it and I imagine this will continue to be the case as time goes on.BOTTOM LINE: This product definitely won't be for everyone, but if you can get past the texture issue and the fact it is completely non-foaming then you will find it works well. If you are a smoker or otherwise prone to bad breath, I'd probably recommend a mouthwash to use alongside, as the flavour of this product is very subtle, and therefore not particularly 'freshening'.

Really smashing product! Very expensive, but SO worth the price!
I absolutely LOVE this tooth and gum powder! After suffering from digestive problems and not absorbing minerals and vitamins properly, my teeth had started to de-mineralise and had become rather translucent! When I noticed what was happening I decided to purchase this product, as although it's rather pricey I'm a big believer in healing the body naturally. To my amazement, within 3 days of using this powder my teeth have gone back to being opaque, and they're looking a little whiter too!I'm used to using tooth powders and clay's on my teeth, so the texture doesn't bother me and I actually find the taste quite pleasant (I know this can take a bit of getting used to for some though!).I will definitely be using this as my main 'toothpaste' from now on, as I can really feel it working it's magic on my teeth! (I just hope my tummy can heal now too!)

Small gritty (bark?) pieces get stuck in your teeth
My teeth feel clean after using it, however, there are very small pieces that remain in your mouth (I think it might be cinnamon bark?) - they dont taste bad but I find it annoying to have them stuck in my teeth even after rinsing several times.I also find that I wake up with a coating on my teeth (the clay?) which may be protecting the enamel, however it makes my mouth feel dirty. I've not noticed this with other natural tooth powders (which have been bicarb based rather than clay).I love the idea of this product (natural, fluoride free), but the gritty pieces are not at all desirable; I wouldn't buy it again, nor recommend it.

Lovin' it!!!
I was thinking about making my own toothpaste after reading Dr. Ellie Phillips book "Kiss your dentist good bye". I had ongoing gum inflamation for years and no rinsing, flossing, brossing or whatsoever helped me with my gums. The author recommends not to use any toothpaste with either glycerin, sorbitol or baking soda in it, but I couldn't find one single toothpaste on the market without it. Even the "good" organic brands like Weleda, Jasons, etc all contain glycerin. The only toothpaste without any of these ingredients that I could find was Earthpaste, but that one gave me for some reason plenty of mouth ulcers. So I decided to make my own toothpaste, when I came across this product. It contains all the ingredients for home made toothpaste, except maybe the coconut oil that makes it a bit creamier (but you can add it yourself). I tried it for a few days now and I must say I am absolutely in love with it! It leaves the teeth really clean and shiny. It's too early to say for the gum inflamation, but at least it doesn't irritate them or make them worse like other toothpastes. Will definitely continue to use this powder!

Not the right choice.
I bought 2 but my problem is not the tooth or gum but the jaw bone, however the smell is nice but not strong enough to the break down of the jaw bone which requires surgery.

Seriously impressed
First trial of this today but am well-impressed! It seems strange not having the foaminess of a normal toothpaste, and also the fact that you are brushing with what looks like 'brown muck'...but after that, the feeling of CLEAN is like nothing I have experienced before! My teeth did have bits of grit around the gumline afterwards, but a few quick rinses and they are gone. I am using this product in conjunction with Oregawash mouthwash by Zane Hellas and I now have the cleanest, freshest mouth ever! Time will tell if my teeth actually do remineralize but after the first use my teeth no longer 'ached' which is a definite bonus. Its too early to say if my teeth will become any whiter but I have noticed they look more polished with that hint of 'pearliness' or iridescence that all healthy teeth should have (but that in mine was sadly lacking!). I am looking forward to seeing the dentist next time (and I never thought I would ever say that!) :)

Not enough time to use
Be careful - check the date on the packaging when it arrives. My Product arrived with only 5 weeks until use by date was up, which is Naff & doesn't give you chance to try out properly.I tried to contact seller in case it was an old batch & had been sent out by mistake - but I havent had any reply from them or the amazon team. The product itself is a herbal powder that's suppose to help with teeth & gums, it looks & tastes like powderd cinnamon. A bit like brushing your teeth with brown saw dust. I honestly don't think its had any affect at all, I've used for 3 weeks brushing 2 or 3 times daily as recommended but can't say it's made any difference at all. The crappy use by date means I should discontinue using soon & I Will have to throw 2/3 of the pot away soon - Rubbish really & definetly not worth the price when a pot of cinnamon would cost about ยฃ1 & probably last a damn site longer. Think it's a rip off but could be wrong!
