CIARRA CBCB9201 90cm Chimney Cooker Hood Black, Class A++, 406m³/h, 3-Speed

After reading the reviews I nearly didn't buy this, but after looking at branded more expensive hoods with not much better reviews I chose this as the duct kit and carbon filters came with it, and the reviews stated people either really loved or hated it, so we took a chance & for price thought it was a cheaper option if it was a bad buy. However, turned out to be a great choice, we have the 90cm black hood, and have used it now for 3 weeks, hubby found it very easy and straight forward to install, (replacing an old one) we have universal filters so use them as well as the carbon, the suction Is great on all 3 settings used as directed, the light looks good and really does look good as a back light on an evening, the motor noise is a lot quieter than the last hood we had up, it was noticed straight away. And finally it looks fantastic and finishes my kitchen off beautifully. All in all I'm extremely pleased we took a chance on this one, we've saved nearly £300 and feel it's a win win. So if like me your put off by the bad reviews, concentrate more on the good ones and listen to our experiences of this hood. Edit January 2026. This hood is still working as good as the first day it was installed.

so simple to use and to install, for what it is the price is very good too, its not heavy at all. i have a 90cm wide cooker and this fits perfectly above it. the color is nice and of a satin kind of finish. the extraction rate is very good, i wouldnt recommend it for a very busy kitchen though. for a small family its a great choice.

Was pretty straightforward to fit, although the instructions for the chimney part were a bit backwards. The light is ok, but could be better. The fan is a lot noisier than I would have expected, even on the lowest level, but overall I'm quite happy with it.

This is a great replacement hood for our old one. Not so loud as the old one and is very effective. It fitted in perfectly all we needed was a reducer for the extractor hose so it would fit in our existing hole through the wall. A reducer and short piece of hose from screwfix fixed this. All done in a few hours. The light is at the back but you quickly get used to that. Would benefit from an additional light at the front. But this is perfect as a replacement for an old cooker hood. Very pleased with Cooker hood and looks much smarter than our old one. Great Product and Great Value.

This CIARRA cooker hood for me ticked all the boxes. Easy to install, good performance and nice aesthetics. I particularly like how the cooker hood filters came included in the install kit to help eliminate the horrible smells you get from frying food! But also importantly as an engineer it help keep the motor clean prolonging the appliance life. As with all cooker hoods the fixings are not standard but with a spirit level and tape measure an amateur DIY're can get this up on the wall! Highly recommend to anyone

It's a cheap cooker hood. It doesn't look cheap. And it was easy to install. But it's noisy at all levels and the suction is very poor. Also note that the chimney is narrow compared to average - not a problem unless your tiles were in place for a wider chimney and then it leaves a gap.

Dishonest Customer Service from Ciarra... I ordered and received this in Jan 2025 - it arrived, I installed in my kitchen - it stopped working after 8 months in that light kept working but extract fan stopped working - I contacted Amazon in November - Amazon gave me email details for Ciarra - Ciarra gave me hotmail address for their own returns department - returns department agreed there was a problem, confirmed they did not want defective unit returned but said they would pay for replacement unit - on this basis I ordered same product again from Amazon - I sent second order details to Ciarra returns dept on receipt of goods - I have heard nothing back in 30 + days with no response from Ciarra...

Mooi en stevige afzuigkap, na 9 maanden werkte het lichtknopje niet meer naar behoren waardoor het ledverlichting niet aangezet kon worden. Per e-mail overleg gehad met Ciarra en vervolgens een filmpje per email doorgestuurd. Binnen een week had Ciarra zonder problemen een nieuwe afzuigkap opgestuurd. Wereldklasse! Uitstekende (after)service, daar kunnen een hoop fabrikanten nog van leren.

Ho acquistato questa cappa aspirante CIARRA da 90 cm e ha svoltato la situazione in casa. ​Efficacia: Aspira benissimo e, grazie anche ai filtri a carbone, elimina del tutto gli odori di cucina e il fumo. Finalmente mia moglie ha smesso di lamentarsi per la puzza dopo che cuciniamo! ​Rumorosità e design: È elegante, argentata, fa la sua bella figura e non è nemmeno troppo rumorosa per la potenza che ha. ​Consumi: Ottima anche la classe energetica A++. ​Consigliatissima a tutti, un vero toccasana per la cucina e per la pace domestica!

Produit parfait...un peu bruyant tt de même, mais efficace dès le 1er degré de ventilation. La lampe éclaire bien les mains,puisqu'elle est face à soi. Attention avec l'utilisation du plan fourni pour percer les trous des vis support. C'est une bonne idée,mais vérifier au fur et à mesure du perçage tt de même, qqs millimètres de décalage sont vite arrivés.

La luce è insufficiente per cucinare se usata da sola se accendi altre luci allora puoi anche spengerla perché non serve a nulla . Le tre velocità della ventola praticamente sono identiche . Quindi tra là uno e la tre la differenza è più che minima quando invece solo a livello rumorosità si dovrebbe sentire distintamente le variazioni . Le due viti per avvitare il caminetto alla cappa hanno la filettatura che non combacia con i supporti per cui le ho avvitate in qualche maniera .Non ci sono spiegazioni su come sostituire i led . Ormai è fatta ma la cambierò presto
