Assembly was easy. Packaged nicely. It fits in the designated space. The handles turn easily enough for my 8 year old daughter to use. It is made of plastic except for the rubber fins that control the dispenser. It holds a lot of cereal. I used honey bunches of oats and cocoa puffs for the first round.1 year later and this thing is still functioning nicely. We've used all sorts of cereals and it works well. Cleaning it is easy.2.5 years later and we're still using the cereal dispenser as a cereal dispenser. Handles still turn without problem. This really is a great product!

Received today. When I opened the package there is a sticky note on it that says cracked. And a large crack in the canister.

Very Fragile. One wrong move could break easily.
These are much smaller than described. I included family size cereal to show difference. The cereal are 19.5 ounces which the containers only held 15 ounces. No big deal. Still mission accomplished. They are real fragile. I don't expect them to last very long. My next purchase will be glass. Still a good buy.
