Worked straight away!
If your daughter loves disney princesses then this is definitely the clock for her! The light gives a nice night light glow through the night and my daughter understood straight away that it wasn't time to get out of bed until 'night time cinderella' turned into 'day time cinderella'. The 'alarm' setting isn't perfect, my daughters bedtime is 7 til 7 but you can't set the 'alarm' to the same time as the actual time so I have to creep back in adjust it. Other than that, it does the trick and she loves it.

Does the job
It does what I wanted it to, my 3 and a half year old knows not to come out of her room or try to wake me up before the light goes off and she loves that it lights up. I think this will work better in the winter months.

a brilliant idea, and a catching design
This was bought for my granddaughter who was always waking early. The idea is that the clock switches from night to day telling the child when to get up. It took just a few nights before she learnt to stay in bed until the day last came!A simple idea, well executed! The only down side was the short battery life.

Bought this to replace my daughters old pooh bear 1 ...
Bought this to replace my daughters old pooh bear 1 that stopped working after a couple of years. She really likes it and very girly with the pink and cinderella.

Very poor quality
This clock is absolutely dreadful. The first one I had started to lose time very quickly. It is possible that it was just very heavy on the batteries, but this wasn't good enough. I had the best Duracell in there! I sent it back for a replacement. That one arrived the other day. I set it to come on at roughly 07:15. Obviously the night before, you can't set it until at least 19:15 (as it works on a 12 hour basis, which is also unhelpful if your child is in bed by 7 - you have to wait 15 minutes before you can set it!!!), however it would not activate until 20:00. My daughter was getting frustrated (at least the first clock we had did do that bit correctly) and then I was getting frustrated with it. This kept her awake as she wanted to go to sleep with it set. It finally activated at 20:00 despite the little grey hand pointing just a little past 7, meaning daytime will show at approx 07:15. This second clock is now packaged up to be returned. I shall not be buying another. Please do not waste your money on this product.

Great value!
This is great value and works really well for us. We have been using it for three weeks and haven't had to replace the batteries yet...I like the fact that the clock is an analogue clock rather than digital ( better for learning to tell the time later on) and that when you no longer need the night light, you don't need to put all three batteries in as the clock and light circuits are separate. This is also an ideal first clock as well as a fun sleep trainer. Our daughter loves it, fortunately it is very robust!

It's a great clock but battery life is short
It's a great clock but battery life is short. For the nightlight, teaching day and night which is a shame but still I would recommend it as the clock itself still works even if the light dosent.

Massive waste of money - steer clear - batteries run out very quickly
This clock is great in principal but first up I agree with all the other poor reviews - it works on a 12 hour basis which is really annoying. What's more important and makes it a total waste of money is that it is battery operated. You have to remember to turn a switch off at the back that works the light function on the clock. At first you forget to do this so the battery for the light still runs until you remember. But even when you get in the habit of turning the switch off each morning, the batteries run out REALLY quickly. So every 2 - 3 months you have to replace 3 out of the 4 batteries or the light function doesn't work (which is the whole point!). So soon you've spent more on batteries than you have on the actual clock. Do not buy it unless you want to spend over the odds long term. If ONLY you could plug it into the wall, it would be fine. Go for the Gro-Clock sleep trainer. Costs a tiny bit more but long term it doesn't as it runs off electricity not battery. My son has it and it's great.
