Regatta Men's Thompson Fleece Jacket

Pleasantly surprised. A budget fleece which is thick and warm. Very impressed as it's also lightweight. Love a good fleece, and this also washes well.

I've bought two of these now. Paying about £10 each. Honestly, theres not a great deal to say, It's a fleece. The fit is absolutely fine - it maintains its colour during washing and generally fits absolutely great for the size. The fleece itself isn't too thick - which can be great for layering or summer use - but probably won't be quite sufficient as a winter layer on its own - you'll definitely need a thicker top layer anything below 10 or 12 degrees celsius. Other than that - Great value - absolutely fine.

I paid £4.99 for this and thought that was excellent value for a decent brand fleece. I don't think I own any other regatta products but you would see their products in a typical outdoor clothing shop. Upon receiving the fleece it was pretty much exactly what I thought it would be like. Quality of the materials seems decent etc. Something to bear in mind when ordering this is that it is a micro fleece, i.e. it is thin and not designed for maximum warmth, I was expecting this from the reviews I had read but as it doesn't specifically mention this on the product description I thought it was worth stating. Despite this it is a very useful fleece to have for layering up in the cold and for weather that isn't very cold. It fits fine, the fabric is a little stretchy so you could consider going for a size down if you wanted a tighter fit, especially if not worn over many other layers. My only slight gripe is that the bottom of it does not have an elastic tightening cord thing which a more expensive fleece might have. I am tall so got an XL but don't need as much belly room so being able to bring it in a bit at the bottom would have been ideal but for the price I cannot complain. Overall I am pleased with it, especially for the price.

Great quality for a great price

It's good and I like it Buuuuttttt!!! It'not a jacket, it is the thickness of a standard t-shirt with a very thin fleece lining. It's very comfy and wam but it is just a fleece t-shirt with a polo zip and not even remotely a jacket. Fills a need I didn't know I had but is a t-shirt. Looks good nice loose fit but not outer wear. Amazing thermal t-shirt. Worth £8.

Warm, comfortable and solid value This Regatta Thompson fleece jacket has been a nice addition to my wardrobe. The fleece is properly cosy without being overly bulky, so it’s great for everyday wear whether you’re out walking the dog or just popping into town. It fits well and the cut feels sensible and comfortable, not too tight and not too loose, which makes it easy to layer over a T-shirt or under a coat. The quality feels good for the price and it has stood up to regular use without any obvious wear or bobbling so far. It keeps the chill off properly on cooler days and washes well without losing shape or softness. Overall I’m really happy with it and think it’s good value if you want a dependable fleece that does exactly what it should.

Très bonne petite polaire pour tous les jours. Celle-ci se montre en toutes circonstances (bureau ou manutention), comme fort agréable et pratique. Douce, légère et chaleureuse, en ces premiers frimas précurseurs de l’hiver (bien entendu, on ne parle pas d’évoluer dans le cercle arctique, ou de baguenauder au-delà du Mur, non plus^^). Elle reste aussi confortable à porter, tant en extérieur qu’en intérieur (chauffé avec raison). Dernier point, mais non le moindre. Ce pull a pour lui le bon goût de se maintenir à l’usage, conservant en toutes circonstances un aspect soigné, qui apporte sa petite touche de chic. En toute élégante simplicité.

... darf man nicht viel erwarten. Der Pullover ist sehr dünn, also nicht unbedingt für das einkuscheln im Winter geeignet. Macht sonst einen dem Preis angemessenen Eindruck. Aber wegen des dünnen Materials nur 3 Sterne.
