Osprey Sojourn 80 Unisex Convertible Wheeled Travel Pack - Flash Black (O/S)

I have owned many suitcases and travel bags over the years, but this is my absolute favourite.Sturdily made and fashionable, the bag looks great! However, it's the functionality where it excels.The wheels and extendable handle are sturdy and work very well. The choice of two carry handles is a thoughtful addition, too. But it's the backpack carrying system that tops it off perfectly!Neatly concealed behind a zip panel, the full shoulder and waist harness makes converting the Sojourn 80 into a framed backpack simple! Comfortable to wear and practical for moving luggage over uneven surfaces, this feature is truly a distinguishing characteristic that sets the Osprey bag apart from its competitors.

Excellent bag. Main compartment opening is huge so gives really easy access to all you need inside - gone are my days of struggling with standard rucksacks-toploading into a dark abyss. Inner mesh pockets are really useful. Top outer pocket great for toiletries or other stuff that needs to be within instant access. I love this bag for its design. The roller feature means you can roll it along when you have your daypack or other non roller case on your back then you can hoist it up on your back if on awkward road surfaces. Only just bought it but the fabrics used and the chassis all seem mega strong and durable. I took ages trawling the internet for a bag like this and it took some time to decide on it. Now that I have it and am using it I am so happy that I did my research and decided on this one. Very happy customer of Osprey. I also note that I've seen quite a few Osprey rucksacks on people's backs on my first day of arrival in Mexico - a good sign.

This bag had everything I was looking for; soft case, wheels and backpack straps. When the bag was quite full, it was a little difficult to carry as a backpack and the bag itself is a little on the heavy side. However, the bag is really well made, strong and very versatile.

Absolutely love this, my favourite travel bag. I use this for travelling around the Uk whether it’s sporting activity or away for social weekend . Lots of pockets, main compartment opens out for loading and can expand or compress. Conversion to rucksack is brilliant and really handy especially if you carrying other bits, I bought this over the transporter 90. The daypack can be added which is handy for travelling and touring.

Taking it for its first outing as I type. It carries everything for a multi day trip. Top pocket good size, extending handle not as long as I was expecting - but the picture is a fair representation. Just got to see how it holds up being my workaday trolley case for the next couple of years.Switching to rucksack mode tomorrow - straps look OK. The one thing I’m finding is that it’s very stable as the wheels are well spaced (chucked a previous bag made by somebody else as it fell over every time I went round a corner!)

This is a really robust case/backpack. It seems to be very well made and sturdy. It has pockets in all the right places and seems to have been really well thought out. You can wear it as a backpack or roll it along using its handle. I think if i were heavy it might be awkward to wear as a backpack. It feels built to last, and i was very happy with it when i took it on holiday. Just the right size for 1 person up to 2 weeks.

I travel a lot and regularly have a necessity to take a large bag as I need samples for work purposes to be transported. This bag is not only very big, its extremely sturdy and can also be used as a backpack. All in all a great bit of kit and really pleased I purchased.

This is, in many ways, the perfect hybrid bag. BUT the handle is weak. It't somehow stuck in the "out" position and a VERY long way from home. This has mutated the bag from a wonder into a nightmare as it still has to travel many thousands of miles.BUT I was given a full refund by the seller when it went missing on its way for repair. The 60l bag is not much better, the me bent on first trip on an aircraft

La mejor mochila de viaje, perfecta

Inauguré lors d'un voyage en Islande en février, il est grand, solide, a une bonne garde au sol pour passer dans la neige, jusqu'à 10cm je dirais. Pas utilisé le harnais, mais juste testé chez moi, ça a l'air correct sur du portage entre l'aéroport et le gîte. Après mon sac faisait 23kg, plus le bagage cabine...

Ich glaube diese Reisetasche /dieser Rucksack war das beste was mir passieren konnte. ..Von außen wirkt sie ein bisschen größer als ein normaler Rucksack.Egal ob als Handgepäckrucksack auf kleinen Reisen oder als Reiserucksack für längere Reisen...er kann alles.Ich habe ihn nun drei Wochen in Asien auf einen Roadtrip getestet.Meine Packwürfel passten super in den Rucksack, sodass ich alles super sortiert und organisiert im Rucksack verstauen konnte.Dadurch das man den Rucksack wie ein Koffer aufklappen kann, konnte ich mich bei jeder Gelegenheit ganz leicht am Rucksack bedienen.Ich bereue nicht mich für diese tolle Reisetasche entschieden zu haben.Sie kommt mir vor wie Bugs Bunnys Tasche. Endloser Stauraum.Jedes Mal, wenn ich denke sie muss doch jetzt voll sein, passt doch noch was rein.Räder und Griff sind von toller Qualität und dadurch, dass die Räder auch größer sind als normale, ist das ein ganz anderes Rollgefühl!Auch die Rucksackfunktion ist top. Sitzt gut und stabil.Der Rucksack lässt sich bei meinen 1,84m hervorragend tragen, ich hatte keine Probleme.Zwei Gurte stabilisieren und können noch einmal kräftig komprimieren.Am Ende meines Trips war der Rucksack so voll, dass ich Angst hatte,dass die Reißverschlüsse kaputt gehen würden... aber falsch gedacht.Der Rucksack hat alles mitgemacht! ALLES.Ich habe ihn als "Koffer" abgegeben und er kam genauso wie er vorher war auch wieder raus.Man kann alle Schnallen und Gurte super verstecken und verstauen, so dass er an nichts hängen bleibt.Einfach Toll...

Osprey è un'ottima marca e quest'ultimo zaino/valigia non è da meno. Non ho ancora avuto occasione di provarlo (mannaggia), ma non vedo l'ora. Mi è stato regalato ed è stata una bellissima sorpresa! La mia intenzione è di usarlo negli aeroporti o negli spostamenti cittadini come trolley, per poi trasformarlo velocemente in zaino 'scout' per tragitti fuori mano o in montagna. Testato (tristemente) in casa, posso dire che è molto comodo da portare sulle spalle, cosa di cui avevo timore, essendo un 'ibrido'.Si possono vedere i vari utilizzi e specifiche sull'ottimo sito della Osprey, ma per trasformarlo in zaino basta semplicemente far scorrere la cerniera posteriore che nasconde una sacca con le strap per le spalle, quella grande per il bacino e le cinghiette per il fissaggio al petto, proprio come un qualsiasi zaino professionale da montagna. Sia il 'dorso' dello zaino che le straps sono imbottite, leggere e molto comode. I materiali, come da fama Osprey, sono di ottima qualità. Le cinghie sembrano molto solide, e quelle interne risultano utili per fissare vestiti o computer all'interno del sacco. Particolare che puo' interessare, l'apertura anteriore dello zaino è 'totale', ovvero si puo' aprire un tutta la sua lunghezza e non presenta aperture particolari per, ad esempio, un vano scarpe inferiore. (Lo dico perchè a qualcuno potrebbe interessare). Infine, le ruote sono grandi, di modo che possa venire usato come trolley anche in percorsi piu' accidentati.Che dire? Non vedo l'ora di utilizzarlo per un viaggio!
