Pure yeast
The yeast has worked well for bread-making. I have made 3 loaves with it so far. With the white loaves, it did not raise the loaf as much as fast-action yeast, but the bread is still soft and a good texture. It is however more dense than with fast action yeast. When I used it for a wholemeal loaf, it was perfect. I like it because it is pure. I would recommend - but don’t expect very light and airy bread.

It does not work sadly. I really wanted organic yeast, so had a go with this, but the bread didn't rise.

Works Well in Bread Machine
Works perfectly every time in bread machine- just put an extra 1/4 teaspoon for every 1 of fast acting yeast in the recipe. No Sorbitan Monostearate - just yeast

For gluten free baking
I've been looking for an organic and gluten free yeast that had no nasty additives and this works a treat. Have used it for a variety of recipes with great results every time. It's straight forward to use and the recipe usually advices how much to add depending on the type of yeast you use and it's worked well so far.

THE BEST YEAST FOR BREAD MONEY CAN BUY
If you like to generally go for organic products in your diet, then I recommend this yeast from Argano Bioreal. It is organic. I make my own bread in a breadmaker, and always use this yeast. The sachets mean the yeast is always fresh, as long as the packet is within the sell-by date. I only need to use 1/4 teaspoon in each loaf, along with a tablespoon of sugar, I set me bread maker up to produce loaf overnight, the loaf is always light a well-risen.
