This is accurate (have compared against calibrated torque tools) and pretty easy to use. It’s great to have a wide range of values to set with just one, flexible tool.Though the “beep and flash” of these digital tools is fine, I tend to overshoot my desired, set value- something that does not happen with standard “click” torque wrenches.

You can tell the moment you open it how much care and time went into making this product. The adapter is pure quality and I found it to work great for my homeowner needs, mainly motorcycle stuff.

The product i believe would be alright for someone who DIY projects but mine came looking used already im not sure if it was a malfunction with the product itself or if someone else hadn't already had it and messed it up because i torqued 1 side down on heads on a Chevy Silverado it went through 2 batteries just to do that little job it would cut off itself and I have to power it back on im not sure if it was actually the products fault or if someone else hadn't already messed it up before I got it. Would I try it again probably so it's a pretty decent product for the money but if you are doing heads that require a degree torque just save yourself the hassle and get a torque wrench that does lbs and degree that's my opinion on this.

Received on time. Thanks, Amazon. Tool is well packaged and looks nice although the plastic housing might not survive a drop on the concrete floor of my garage. It is easy to use and seems to provide reliable readings. Began a project to recalibrate my torque wrenches using this tester. Naturally this required repeated tests of torque adjustments on the wrenches. The project was lengthy. I noticed the battery level (shown on the tester screen) beginning to drop off after only about 5 minutes of use. Hmmm . . . Within an hour the battery level was very low and tester began to react abnormally. After about 90- minutes of use, I removed the original battery and put in a new one. Got the same performance. Totally unacceptable. Processed a return and sent it back to the Amazon barn.

Overall very well executed product, starting with the metal box that conveniently holds the torque adapter, instructions, battery, and even a little screwdriver for opening the battery compartment.Using the torque adapter is simple and easy: turn it on, use the up/down keys to select desired torque, and choose your mode: “F” mode displays current applied torque and “K” mode displays peak torque. Then it's just a matter of tightening until the torque adapter alerts you to stop by which it has three methods: 1) the screen shows you current/peak torque numbers; 2) there's an audible intermittent beep that starts as you approach desired torque and turns into a solid beep when you hit it; 3) there's a green light indicator (and a red light when you go too far!).I will point out that this model of digital torque adapter doesn't feature an angle measurement – so be aware of that if you're looking for that feature. Other features this model does have are: a backlit screen, selectable units (lb/ft, Nm, Kg/cm, lb/in), battery indicator, and a memory function for easy recalling of frequent torque values.

When there's a signed, dated calibration sheet showing measured vs. indicated torque in both directions at multiple torque levels, you know that you're dealing with a product for professionals. The case is a very impressive and heavy steel affair, clearly labelled so that you aren't left guessing what's in it.It comes with the battery separate in the case along with a small screwdriver for opening the battery compartment. The case cleverly has a slot for the manual and calibration sheet.I'm not going to waste your time by trying to sound like an authority by repeating information already shown on the product page.Everything about this is confidence inspiring. I'm quite happy with it and expect that it's going to get more usage now than my five torque wrenches.
