I loved the build quality/materials and the size/footprint for a 2TB external drive (Its replacing a seagate basics 1tb which fried itself 2.5 years in)Its better built in terms of case than the seagate, and smaller - without carrying out any detailed tests I am happy with the speed and performance.It remains to be seen how this drive will do (its used for server backup, so not heavy duty)

Gorgeous equipment. She's sleek, she's small, she works well with everything (I have Mac and Microsoft), she's durable and reliable... What more could you want? Other than the obvious, that if it came in different colours I would collect one of each like little mini power rangers. Stunning. No data loss. Easily attached to your computer. And if you accidentally dropped her on the floor (don't do that it's scary) she survives! Durable.

I use this as an external drive for my MacBook Air and the built-in SSD isn't large.I can easily offload music, movies images etc onto this little Toshiba drive. The unit is small and slim, fitting easily into a a pocket on a laptop case - indeed, without the cable it will fit into a shirt pocket.A USB A to A cable is included, so you might need an adapter. I use an A to C adapter with my laptop and the drive works seamlessly.

I thought I was being smart by using this as external backup for my laptop. Then suddenly the drive stopped working, and now I have lost all my data and backup files. I am seriously considering setting up a NAS system with RAID.
