inflates to 5 " on 1 side, 4.5" on other side and works for women , I am 5' 2" it fit my neck correctly. Smells chemical when out of package but after 2 days of inflating, did not smell at all, works well

The website said this was a firm pillow with good support and 5 inches thick on the high side. None of that is true. Pillow is soft and squishy, no support for your neck, and maybe 4.5 inches at most. But since it squishes down, and you can squeeze it almost flat with your fingers, the thickness doesn’t matter.If you have neck pain and/or herniated disks in your neck and need a firm pillow, DO NOT BUY THIS.

I had failed back surgery and I'm was looking for a replacement neck pillow. I actually had another neck pillow in the cart ready to purchase but decided to click on "similar items" and this pillow was one of those.Although a bit more expensive than the one I was about to buy, it has been well worth it.Not too hard, has kept its shape and definitely longer than the pillow it replaced. Oh, it did have a bit of a smell when I first opened it but that lasted only a few hours.It took maybe two days to get used to it but now, I'm actually getting a little more sleep every night and I am waking up better rested.This is a keeper, I love this pillow.
